I’ve done 5 different miniature houses so far, and this has been my favorite!! The instructions were very concise and easy to follow, it had a great inventory guide, the all of the pieces and papers were organized in an easy to find manner. The only part I would change is the way the electrical components linked together at the bottom of the house. A groove for the wires to lay in, so everything was flat and level, would’ve been nice and you have to splice the wires in multiple places because some of the wires are not long enough to reach where they need to be. It is so beautiful when it’s all put together and was so much fun to make!! I do think this is an adult craft project because of the amount of time that is needed to complete them, it took me about 30 hours.

I have done dollhouses for a few months now and it's safe to say this is one of my favorite. It's beautiful with easy to understand instructions. It is quite big, so I wouldn't recommend it to beginner builders, but it is definitely for anyone who wants to take on a fun and creative challenge.

Got everything but the glue needed for this miniature, though luckily I had some spare glue from previous miniatures to substitute for that! Other than that, all the other pieces listed were included and I am excited to see how long this one will take me to complete.

Looks like well made pieces. Really excited to put this piece together. If you’re looking for something you literally create from scratch this is a great piece for your creativity. This isn’t those silly pieces you glue a Nob to an opening and call it creative. You’ll need your own supplies, glue, nice fine ended tweezers, scissors and batteries. I use both latex and Elmer’s glue depending on the item I’m gluing. Latex works great for sticking the body together and Walmarts is fantastic for gluing paper to the wood and certain flower types that hate latex glue. Just a couple of tips for newbies to these pieces. Most think it includes everything when it doesn’t. Wish I’d known that before working on these wonderful pieces. :)

We loved it! So much fun! I got this for my 7YO daughter and we did it together. The way all the pieces are made is so clever, you assemble each piece of furniture and decor from paper or jewelry pieces, it brought a lot of joy to see how to make a tiny candlestick. It was not missing any pieces. At times I thought it was missing a piece but I later found them. Absolutely delightful.

I have made over 200 nook book and mini builds like this one. I began to notice last year that the once nice wood pieces are now thin pressboard and paper board in punch out sheets, they splinter no matter how careful you are and any pressure breaks them. This kit has one small bag (K) of nice pieces. Everything else is this thinner than usual pressboard. The water in the fountains aren’t plastic or resin but blue rope paper you have to unroll and then brush with glue and add glue to try and look like water. For being an Asian type of home the wall papers do not go along with the theme. While it has a lot of the normal things you see in builds, with what this one costs I expected more. It does not have a dust cover. It also didn’t come with the music box, I can’t decide if that is bad or a blessing though as most every music box is the same tinny song. I have a container full of these music boxes I didn’t use for that reason. Hey manufacturers how about different music? But for the price it certainly should have been included. For what I got, this should have been a $20-$25 build and not the $55 it cost. There are a lot nicer kits than this one for less money.

Great project! Got this as a gift for my wife and she was able to put it together in about 10 hours. The wiring for the lights is a bit difficult, you need to strip the wires for the battery pack yourself, and the instructions only tell you to put the shrink wrap tubing on the exposed wires but you can heat it with a lighter or hair dryer to keep it on the wires, which I highly recommend. Good quality and this was a lot of fun for my wife and I also enjoyed watching her put it together. The intricacies are really cool and make the house very neat to look at!

This one took a lot of patience. The directions can be confusing and some of the wooden pieces are very fragile. It does look great once complete. The front half does open up so you are able to see the inside of the build. Overall enjoyed it but may take some patience.
