The media could not be loaded. I ordered this as it was the expensive vortex mixer I could find on Amazon. MUCH better at mixing my reaper and vallejo points for mini painting than the obnoxious nail polish mixer that uses a rubber band. Half a star off because the suction cups hold it just off the table enough to make it noisier than it should be, I just hold it in one hand and push the paint into with the other. The other half of the star off is because I live in a house with dogs and the device sits on my workbench near where I'm using sand and grit to base minis and the rubber / plastic top attracts particles and hair like crazy! I do love that it has a battery so I could theoretically toss it in a bag to take with me if I want to paint on the go. The video doesn't do justice to the volume difference between the device resting on the desktop vs when I'm pressing it down.

I use this for Vellejo Model color paints, which require the paint to be mixed very well to get the pigments to blend. After about a minute or so, they are extremely well blended and ready for use.

This product worked perfectly when delivered. Used it for my inks for around a month or so and then it STOPPED working. The Red Light came on when plugged in but it just won't work!! Pretty frustrating and disappointing knowing that it was a costly investment as well for such product. Nevertheless, spent my money and it's all a waste now.

This thing works great and a deal at this price. Works great stirring up Army Painter and Citadel paint containers. A few seconds and the bottle is thoroughly mixed.

A USB cable charges the darn thing, and if you run it long enough, roughly an hour or so. It will completely drain the battery. Now it may have been my unit or what I was using to power the USB, but once the battery was dead. The unit could no longer run even while plugged in. It also didn't charge even after being plugged in for 12+ hours. It gets a gracious three stars because my use case of trying to mix 50 bottles of paint after three years of sitting may have been beyond the scope of this thing. But, it did pretty well with the first dozen or so paints used in it. Your mileage may vary if you only occasionally mix a few things. In short, it isn't very robust.

I have so many mini-paints that separate and thus re-mixes them very efficiently. It would take 15 minutes to do by hand and this does it in seconds… the best purchase to speed up your mini painting.
