This is a compact stepper with the unique feature that the platforms don't just move vertically up/down but actually move slightly inward going up (see picture). This is achieved by the angling of the pivot arms. This actually feels comfortable and natural and mimics the natural foot movement when e.g. running. The two platforms are well textured to prevent slipping. The only adjustment is the stepping height and that's not really needed. There is no adjustment for resistance but movement speed seems to depend very little on weight of the user. The valving of the resistance shocks is perfectly tuned. The included illustrated manual is well written, but does not mention the three resistance bands that are included in a mesh bag (x-light, light, medium) or describe how to use them. The picture on Amazon shows them placed above the knees. When using those, I would probably recommend to have a guardrail or other hold nearby that we can grab if we would lose balance. The manual suggests occasionally lubricating the joints and cable, but does not mention what to use (light oil? Teflon powder? silicon grease? motor oil, axle grease?). They should be much more specific here. The display turns on automatically and displays count, reps/minute, elapsed time, and calories burned as selected. A spare battery (LR44H) is even included. Overall, this mini stepper is build like a tank, with generous thickness in all parts of the frame. No flex at all. All welds are well done. The product label gives a weight limit of 300 pounds, 10% less than the 330 pounds listed on Amazon, but that seems irrelevant. Accounting for dynamic loads, I am sure there is a huge safety margin built into these numbers. ... show more

    • Nice addition to my home gym
I am a novice, just starting to get into the health kick and I know a Stepper will help tone my legs and waist This was a very challenging stepper when using the resistance band for a novice. It took a while for me to get the hang of using both but after I got comfortable on the Stepper, I upgraded to the resistance band and continued to struggle getting both to work for me. With a lot of practicing I started to get the hang of it and continued to work my lower body parts. I made the Stepper a daily activity, always using the bands and the pulleys to get the best workout possible. While using the Stepper daily for the first few weeks, I could feel that the muscles in my thighs and calves were definitely feeling the stress from the workout. After four weeks using the Stepper, I lost almost 2" on my waist and my calves where showing progress along with my buttocks. This Stepper definitely gives you a workout, not easily to adjust the Resistance so I relied on the Resistance bands to do their part. Its hard to get going on it but after a bit of use, I figured out how to start and how to get the most out of the workout. I like that it counts my steps, tells me about how many calories I have burned but I don’t like that I cant sync it to my fitness app. I have to manually load the information into the App. The Stepper is a bit heavy, but is really sturdy. I keep it accessible in my workout room so its part of my daily workout. Being so sturdy, I expect this Stepper to last for many routines. ... show more

I found the stepper nice and sturdy. I like it is a well built machine. It was already set up when it arrived so I could use it straight away. I found the counter to work well and count ever step. I push the button to turn the counter on and when I am done using the machine it goes off after 4 minutes. It came with a spare battery also which is nice. There is a knob I turn under the machine if I want to adjust it some. Higher or lower. It read it was set to the highest position when it arrived but for some reason it was not. I did a little adjustment to it underneath the machine and all is well. Maybe during shipping the knob loosened up. It glides easily up and down as I step and after a few minutes I can feel the burn. I found that the machine is good a heavy and can take some weight. I like it stays balanced on the floor and does not come off or move side to side while using. I found it stays put and in place. I like the foot peddles have raised knobs on it as my feet do not slip around while using the stepper. I found the machine extremely quite. I can use the machine if someone is sleeping next to me and they would not know it. It does twist very slightly as I step up and down but not a uncomfortable twisting of my body. The only thing that threw me off was the box it is packed in reads there is resistance bands. There was no resistance bands in the box as I ordered the machine without them. The machine does have hooks built in for the bands though if I choose to use them. I also found the machine compact and easy to store in my closet. I have enclosed pictures so you can make an informed decision based on your own personal needs. Yes, I would recommend this product. ... show more
