This tabletop table saw is small... very small, but big on value and power... very big. Don't let the price and size throw you. If you need a saw for light-duty, precise cutting, this is the one. It can handle cardboard, thin wood stock, light gauge metal and plastic tubing, and sheet styrene. I use it in my custom guitar business for cutting custom pickguards. Most of the material is around 3mm thick and layered, making it extra strong. The mini table saw handles the job flawlessly. The only flaw I found is with the dust port. It works as it should, keeping your work area clean and clear. But it is essentially just a hole in the back of the unit. You will have to fashion your own adapter to fit your vacuum hose.

This little thing is extremely cool! Yes, it may not be construction grade quality but is awesome for hobbyist. My only gripe is that I wish there were better instructions. Luckily for me, I have quite a bit of experience with normal construction tools so i was able to figure out assembly and operation pretty easily, but your mileage may vary. The manufacturer provides a lot of attachments and blades of all different sizes and types for whatever you're working on. All in all i think the value for what you get is pretty solid, but the build quality does leave some to be desired. I think its a great entry level product in to the hobbyist tools market.

Instructions are terrible and the pictures are barely legible. If you have any common sense or mechanical ability you can easily figure it out. Blades are a little flimsy, will look for better replacement ones. Does it work? YES it works well. Cuts balsa like paper. Also Cuts 1/8 plywood pretty good, you need to lower blade to just above the wood, saw on full speed and go slow feeding it. Happy with purchase.

This is a perfect table saw for use in making various projects for most hobbies. This is most useful when making building for a model train layout. It's easier to use than a hand held saw or a full size table saw. The cuts will be more precise and changing the blade is not a problem. However, there are two major drawbacks that I needed to know before purchasing the saw. One, the blade will not cut 1/4 " or thicker wood including masonry board. The motor is not strong enough and will slow to a stop before cutting is completed. Two, the blade is not adjustable to make angle cuts. Only straight cuts. These problems can be solved by using thinner wood and rigging the angle of the wood to make bevel cuts. Overall, it is a adequate unit for what I need and the price is right.

There are several issues I have with this saw. First, it’s under powered. It’s easy to jam it and get it to stop. It really can’t handle any larger pieces of wood. I wouldn’t buy one again.

I have an electronics hobby and needed a way to cut PCBs to size. This fit the bill perfectly. I use the abrasive diamond dust blades. Straight cuts with a small cut width for accurate cuts.

Works great for limited use - it is a MINI table saw after all. Blade speed is adequate, and it's belt driven (versus direct driven). It's fairly quiet - at least quieter than I expected. Don't look for precision cuts - it's only $55, but it does have decent adjustability, including blade height - as much as one can expect with a 63mm blade. My only disappointment is the lack of variety in blades (hence the 1 star drop), even from other vendors. Note about reviews stating the motor bogs/stalls. It MAY be that the people posting such statements aren't familiar with setting up a table saw. When using the fence, you have to make absolutely sure the fence is perfectly parallel with the blade, or even .001 out on the back side. If the fence is even a small about canted inward (ie. closer to the blade at the rear than the front, as you push the material through, the fence will push the material against the blade and bind blade.
