I returned it. The assembly instructions were ridiculously vague, and the manual was a small brochure. I had a difficult time attaching the saw blade, so I decided to return it.

When I saw this item, I thought it would be a great addition for specialized tasks. Unfortunately, it fails to deliver on a couple very important points and I can’t recommend it. The first and most important issue is the blade guard which is totally ineffective IMO. The “guard” is simply a small rectangle of acrylic plastic that sits above the spinning blade. It does very little to prevent fingers, long hair, or loose clothing from getting caught up in the blade. This is important because, although it is small, the blade is still sharp and spins rapidly. It’s dangerous and, just like a full sized table saw, deserves the operator’s respect. The second problem I had was setting up the flexible shaft. I wanted to grind the burrs off a couple drill holes but could never get the shaft adapter attached to the main body. I don’t know if it was operator error or the parts don’t fit together well. The instructions were a little vague. I believe I was putting it together correctly, but I can’t be sure of that. Finally, setting up the various tools is a real bother. You have to get fingers and/or Allen wrenches in very tight spaces and try to align socket head screws to assemble the various pieces. For full disclosure, there ARE a couple good points about the tool. Once assembled, the table size works well for cutting very small pieces that you wouldn’t or couldn’t cut on a full size table saw. The drill chuck adapter went on as expected without any problems. Unfortunately, the problems associated with this product outweigh the advantages. I cannot recommend this product. It won’t work well for me. Setup is a hassle, the saw blade isn’t well guarded, and I can’t get the flexible shaft to work at all.
