I was highly impressed by the overall quality, especially considering its price. The construction feels solid, and the keys feel is much better than I expected. The keys have a satisfying press and are extremely responsive, comparing favorably with much more expensive Stream Deck models. The size is also excellent. It fits comfortably on my desk without taking up too much space, while still providing enough buttons to be genuinely useful. There is plenty of adjustability when assigning shortcuts and functions, making it suitable for streaming, productivity, and everyday computer controls. Unfortunately, the software is the weakest part of the experience. It is reasonably easy to use once you understand how these devices work, but complete beginners may encounter a small learning curve during setup. It is not impossible to learn, but it lacks the refinement and simplicity of Elgato’s software. Overall, the excellent build quality, responsive keys, compact size, and good keyboard feel make this a strong value. I would recommend it to anyone willing to spend a little time learning the software. However, those who prioritize the most polished and extensive software experience may be better served by a Stream Deck Mini. ... show more

I have such mixed feelings about this stream controller deck. It was really hard to get working, including having to contact customer support to get started. (Turned out that even though I had told it to update the software and it said it was on the latest version, I had to update it AGAIN and it worked despite saying it was the exact same version). It also requires access to a lot of things on the computer that I don't know what they are, and that always makes me nervous. And once I got it fully working, the software is awkward to use and poorly designed. They definitely could have done better with the layout, the ability to copy and paste pages, what can be customized yourself instead of having to download things from their store, and how the smoothness of customizing what you are able to on your own. All that said, the concept of it is really good. Once you get it working, it makes recording and streaming SO much easier. I mostly record, and having buttons to start, stop, pause, unpause, and mute my mic if need be all in one easy to use little box is incredibly helpful. I also set it up to use when I'm hanging out in a Discord call with my friends so I could mute myself if I needed to cough and could start and stop screen sharing without having to tab out of whatever game I'm playing. There's so many things that can be done with just six buttons and a couple selector wheels, it's like it's infinitely adjustable, just... Not easily. And a word of caution for fellow content creators: The buttons can be really loud,especially when letting go of the button. They keys aren't always reliable when pressed, either, and they feel kind of weird, like they're clicking twice on the way down and even then they aren't guaranteed to activate. Also, the scrolling wheel things feel cheap and don't always scroll when you use them, so be prepared to have to hit them two or three times to cycle through the pages. Overall, I'm not sure I can recommend this. If you're looking for a stream controller and you're on a really tight budget, this might be a place to start, but there are better ways to set up a helper device for keyboard shortcuts and macros than this, and they are definitely better value for money than this. ... show more
