Decent quality. Looks nice. I just wish it were taller. I am 5'7", which is not all that tall. If you put it against a wall, there isn't much room for your legs. I adjust my chair height, but then the chair arms won't go under the desk. I looked at the height of desks when I ordered, but they were all this same height. I will eventually have to find one of those desks you can raise electronically so I can get the ergonomics right. I wish there were options for a taller desk in this style. ... show more

I ordered the Walnut color and the photos aren't exactly true to color. It’s a little darker in-person than it appears in the pictures, so it doesn’t match my other furniture as well as I’d like. I considered taking away a star for this reason, but decided to give full stars because I’m still very happy with this purchase. Overall, I’m incredibly pleased with this desk for the price. I had a similar style of desk that got damaged during a move. I ordered this one as a replacement and I’m so glad I picked this one. This desk is much sturdier and easier to assemble than my last desk was for a lower price than I paid for the other one. My old desk was made of flimsy particle board and felt like it would break anytime I tried to moved it. This one has a stronger material and the slider installation method made assembly soooooo much easier. **Tip: for the pieces with 2 separate sliders make sure they are both inserted evenly at the same time to avoid having to push harder to get it in place. For me, everything went together easily with very little force applied. Took maybe 20 minutes to put together (if that) and I was able to move it into place with no worries of it snapping in half...Now don’t get me wrong, it’s still particle board (you get what you pay for), but it’s a thicker, harder material that doesn’t feel flimsy at all. It looks nice in my room and it makes a good space to study. It’s a win in my opinion 👍🏼 ... show more

Desk is small. Better suited for an elementary student, rather than an adult. It's made of pretty thin "boards". If you are smaller and don't lean on it, it should work out fine. If you are taller or tend to lean on furniture, I would recommend finding something else

I have bought and put together hundreds of different pressboard desks, book cases, end tables, and other things over the years and usually went to somewhere like walmart or an office supply store. This desk is by far the best building design and easiest to put together I have ever built. Almost all the part slide together with sturdy plastic connectors that are already screwed on to each piece. There is 16 alan head screws that just support the corner piece of the desk and the desk already has inset metal threads so there is no guessing. It took me only 10 minutes to unbox this desk and fully put it together. issues - well I still give this desk 5 stars with these issues because everything has issues but these seamed very minor in my eyes. There was one piece that was a little difficult to slide together because it seemed I didn't notice both connectors but was a quick and easy fix. The other thing is one of the shelves the plastic slide brackets that hold it together was a very small amount off so when the shelf was on it was very tight but when the other pieces that attach to the shelf were put on it is sturdy just very snug. The other thing is this is a thin pressboard desk and not one you would use in a high end office but its absolutly what I expected and great for my barn office I use it for. I would surely buy from this company again. ... show more

This desk is great, especially for the price! I was a little on the iffy side when I was deciding to purchase this because there were some negative reviews and because it was one of the cheapest L desks I could find. Some of the reviews say theirs were flimsy or couldn't support even one monitor, but mine holds my monitor, tablet, speakers, figurines, and more. I feel like if you put it together correctly, then you shouldn't have a problem... Yes, when you move or push it into an area you want it to be by using more force than usual, it may sway a tad of course. Other than that, it's fine and quite sturdy. I built mine in the corner I wanted it to be in (as you probably should...), and after it's in place, it doesn't move or shake when I'm working on it. The instructions were easy to follow. They reminded of LEGO instructions, but for adults (a lot of pictures and no text). So I hope you had your LEGO practice. I didn't use a screwdriver once. The stoppers/screws on the bottom can be done by hand, the package provides a hex key for the few screws needed underneath the top, and everything else just slides in. I was able to build it by myself, but having a helping hand would be a plus. The final piece was difficult to slide in alone to make sure it locked in, but it is doable! Overall this desk is great. I finally have a place where I can easily switch from gaming, digital drawing, to traditional drawing or class work as I please! ... show more
