good a smart phone
Color: Blue-16G
This compact mini smartphone makes an ideal first phone for young children. I bought the first unit nearly a year ago, and my kids loved it so much that I ended up purchasing a second one for the rest of the family. It is very budget-friendly, so I do not need to worry constantly about kids being rough or careless with the device. In terms of appearance, the cute compact size looks lovely and fits kids’ preferences perfectly. Sound quality is clear enough for daily calls and music playback. It has great compatibility with basic calling plans and common kid-friendly apps. The tiny lightweight frame is easy for small hands to grip and navigate. One huge plus is the natural anti-screen time benefit. The compact hardware cannot support long hours of complex heavy games, which helps limit screen addiction without me having to enforce strict rules every day. This updated version also runs noticeably smoother than the unit I owned for almost a year. Basic functions including calling, messaging, music playback and the camera work reliably. It charges easily with the included USB cable, and battery life works perfectly for kids’ light daily use. It is a basic compact device that works great as a kid’s first phone or simple backup phone, it’s not built for high-demand apps and heavy gaming, which is exactly a helpful feature to control children’s screen time. Wonderful value as a beginner kid phone.

overheating pop-up warnings, hidden spam/adware pop-ups, and sub-hour battery life = buy this
Color: Orange-32G
Total garbage. I expected that this wouldn’t be the greatest, but this was BAD!!! The phone overheats even when doing nothing other than charging, to the point that a warning actually pops up on the phone. It also comes with hidden pre-installed spam/adware that gives you pop-up adds when opening your apps. As well, the phone gets extremely sluggish and dies horribly fast - like under an hour (yes, literally) and even with only the most basic couple of apps installed. The sluggishness I’m sure is a combination of the battery overheating issue, alongside the small amount of RAM. Do not buy, not even for kids.

Perfect phone for kids or simple tasks
Color: Orange-32G
Tiny phone! Perfect for my little one. Looks exactly like an iPhone with an android interface. Lags just a bit but works perfectly fine otherwise. Primarily use just for talk and text with location services so no need for lots of space. Had for about a week and so far holds a charge fine. T mobile network-no issues. Comes with phone case, screen protector and charger.

Great phone for kids or teens.
Color: Blue-16G
It's actually great as long as there's wifi around. Doesn't accept SIM cards. Good emergency phone for kids to contact parents through messenger apps but not really a phone with actual service.

Won't connect to network
Color: Pink-16G
Would not connect to any network, I put in the APN settings several times, double-checked to make sure they were all correct and still would not connect

I’m planning to pick up another one as a gift for my neighbor’s kid.
Color: Black-16G
I set it up right out of the box, connected to Wi‑Fi and logged into Google Play to download all my kid’s favorite apps. My child absolutely loves it, and the camera function is their favorite feature by far. I can now stay in touch with them via WhatsApp. For around $40, this is really great value.
