So I got my first one and the remote wouldn’t connect to the drone so Amazon sent me a replacement and that one did work fine but you need to go through the whole connection process each time you try and use this drone. If you got this for a kid it would be a pain because you as the parent would have to keep helping them every time they wanted to play with it. Flying is not as easy as they make it out to be. I followed the directions and it takes off and just flys to the side and crashes so I’m not sure if it’s defective or I am doing something wrong but I followed the directions that were provided. Also the propellors break easily, two broke from the first crash, thankfully they have extras. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this product.

I had my doubts when I requested this, but we enjoyed it. It was frustrating until we got it trimmed out. Once it is neutral and hoovering in roughly one spot, the kiddos can take over. It's very helpful to know which part is forward since it's a round craft. Its big (&only) trick is to spin the outer ring of LEDs from vertical to horizontal or continually rotate as it flies. Two batteries are included and housed in custom enclosures. They'll fly for about 15 minutes bake-to-back, then need a few hours to recharge, so it mirrors a kid's attention span pretty well. I think this is a bargain for the entertainment you can get for about the price of a large pizza.
