I was looking for a good action camera comparable to the Insta360 but didnt want to spend the $400+ on an insta260 camera. Came across this one and I am glad I bought it. The quality is great, It's nearly identical to the Insta360, app is easy to use, battery lasts a long time. I do not have single complaint about this. I use the hat adapater as I use this camera for competitive shooting. A great and inexpensive alternative to the expensive models out there. Even had someone I shoot with tell me they have nothing but problems with their Insta360 and they were going home to buy this after seeing me use it and the quality and ease of use.

The media could not be loaded. Decided to try this camera out, I liked the fact that it was very small. Once it arrived I realized the photos of what you’re getting was somewhat deceiving although it’s my fault for not doing more research on it. It has a built in memory card, you cannot remove it and the pictures showed one along side the camera as if it was removable, again my fault for not looking further into it. Once I unpacked it, it was not easy to use. The instructions are very poorly written in broken English, translated poorly and do not match the device. Honestly it was a nightmare trying to figure it out. It took me about 45 mins to get it functional, the button combinations seemed to change with each try. Double clicking it will make it record yet that’s what they tell you to do to connect it to your phone to get into wifi mode. After many attempts I was finally able to get it to connect to the app, but then the app would crash every 4 ‘taps’. So I decided to try to dock it and connect it to my MacBook, which it would not do after at least 20 attempts. It will not show up as an external device so you’re stuck trying to get the app to work, which does not work well and when it does, it crashes often and you’re stuck trying to download your videos from the broken app. It takes about 15 mins to download a 10 min clip via the wifi setting when it does work. Granted, I know this is not a ‘fancy’ camera, but the video quality is still disappointing. It looks like a video on a VHS recorder in 1998. I use an electric scooter to commute to and from work and wanted to use it like a dashcam but there’s zero stability, this camera is very sensitive and will pick up every single shake or rumble. Riding on a sidewalk looked more like an earthquake than anything else. If you’re just walking around maybe this camera would be something you’d find useful but with any swift movement you’ll be disappointed. There are a couple positives I can share though, the battery life is exceptional, I have not had to charge it once beyond docking it when not using it, and after a about week the dock still has a full charge. The microphone on it is also great, while not studio quality it does a great job of picking up the sound of everything around you, and it’s not muffled. For these reasons and it being lightweight, I gave it 3 stars. If you’re doing a walking patrol security job, or just need something by to record non-action video, this might be an affordable option for you, but the bad quality of the app might hold you back, as it is not easy to use and very unreliable. You can see for yourself in video I included what you will be getting and judge for yourself, but as of now I can’t find myself recommending this camera until they at least make it much more user friendly. I will be returning this camera.

The media could not be loaded. Exceptional value in my opinion. I’ve only tinkered with it a few times but the controls are easy to comprehend in the instruction paper. Initially I thought the video quality was a little blurry when watching recorded videos in the companion app for the device, but once saved to my phone they were more crisp and clear. The camera is little, about the size of my thumb, and the hat clip it comes with was very secure, didn’t feel heavy on the brim of my visor. This specific one was the only option I could find that could even be clipped horizontal (the 180° adjustable clip was the selling point for me!) vs other options that could only be clipped vertically (like on to a tee shirt) with no way to adjust the angle. Having POV footage of gameplay is really cool. I highly recommend this fun little gadget!

I wanted to try doing some POV videography and while looking for cameras I came across the insta360 go. It looked like the perfect camera with the small form factor and versatility with all the accessories. However, it was way too expensive for a first action camera so I went looking for some cheaper alternatives, and that’s when I came across this. Very similar to the insta360 but only a fraction of the price. I have been using it for a while now, and it’s been great. In terms of form factor and accessories, it is amazing. Very light and easy to carry around, and the mounting gears that came with it are very helpful. The picture quality is what you’d expect for the price- not very good in comparison to higher end cameras, but for a beginner cam it is not bad. Overall, if someone is looking at starting POV or action recording and/or considering a similar camera, I would definitely recommend this.

It was easy enough to charge and use. But that is where it all stops. I can barely get it to connect to the app for my phone, can’t delete footage because it freezes up, my computer will not even recognize it to beable to open the viseoe. Would like a refund but I think it has been too long. I no longer have any of the packaging. Too bad it took me to long to tray the app and its connection to my computer
