My 5 lb package primarily consisted of VERY small pieces of blue and white shredded memory foam. While it may have weighed 5 lbs, the pieces were so small that they did not have a lot of volume when fully expanded. I was disappointed that this package did not fill more of my beanbag, and it didn't seem to rebound as well as some of the other memory foam that I've ordered in the past. I have tried various foam from different suppliers because I got an absurdly large bean bag cover to fill and literally have filled it with about 70 pounds of... FOAM. Yes, it's insane. This foam expands more than others, and doesn't have a chemical smell like some of the others do. So for that reason, it's a win.
