To be honest I'm struggling with the fact that my refrigerator does not work right now so I'm trying to figure something else out and this works really well it is very impressive how cool it keeps everything. I really love this cooler I wish I bought it years ago. The only thing I would change is if the release valve would flip below instead of above because it makes it really hard to let all the water out. I suppose it doesn't matter if you're outdoors but I'm having to use this indoors and the fact that it wants to splash everything up is kind of a problem. Anyway this ice chest is really impressive and it keeps things cool for really long time. I've tried a lot of ice chests and I really like this one. Edited to add that I really love this cooler and it does keep things really cool but the fact that this spigot release is in such a way it splatters water all over the place I don't really like that part if they could just turn the spigot 180° So that the exiting water would flow down instead of up that would help a lot. I wish I could manually turn it but it is fixed in such a way that I can't do it. I am aware that I am using this cooler indoors for emergency situation so that's different from being outdoors where you don't really care what direction the spigot goes. But it is really inconvenient when it goes up instead of down I'm really used to coolers having a down spigot.

Had an older "free hand me down cooler". Went to a place that charged a fortune in camp for ice. Spent the money for a nice 5 day cooler. Pro tip get one LARGER than you think you will need. You can always add ice. Anyways bought ice at a normal store, went to a music festival..... No need to buy any $$ for 3 lbs of ice. Also not as sturdy as the super brands but honestly they weigh a lot and I'm not standing on my coolers or treating the cooler like it's a foot ball and should be kicked around.

1. I'm glad I got one with wheels. When this is full, it definitely requires two people to lift it. Rolling it around works great. 2. So much room! The pics don't really do it justice. I put two 20 lb bags of ice in the bottom and all my food and beverages on top of that. 3. The two 20 lb bags of ice kept my food and beverages cold from Thursday morning til Sunday afternoon. Might have last longer...I was going home. 4. There were some reviews saying the lid warped in the sun. I don't tend to leave my cooler in the sun, so I didn't test that out. The lid seems to have held up well. I've taken this cooler on 3 weekend adventures so far. And we did use it as a seat at times. 5. It drains a little slow, but that isn't actually a complaint...I don't care how fast or slow it drains. 6. I'd buy this again...but I'm guessing I won't need to. I think I will have this for many years.

I used this cooler on a camping trip in middle of the hottest part of summer. It was in the shade 100% of the trip since I was pretty deep in the forest. It lasted over the weekend no problem but I kept ice in it when I got home and left it outside to test the "5 day" claim. Surprisingly, there was still a tiny bit of ice in there on day 3 but, by day four, all of the ice was completely gone. So, maybe the 5 day claim is assuming you don't ever open the cooler? I don't know, but it sure didn't last 5 days, nor even 4. Either way, I can't really complain and it worked well for our two day camping trip. The handles and wheels held up really well, even when lugging this thing (fully loaded) down a steep trail path to get to the campsite deep in the forest. I think the smaller handles would probably break after a couple more trips like this, since I did notice some heavy bending at the mounting points. I was actually surprised that the large handle didn't break on the first use going down this rugged trail but, it came close. When fully loaded, the cooler is HEAVY and the tension hits right where the handle mounts. I kept an eye on those points while lugging it up and down the hill that the path lay on and it came really close to popping out, or breaking, but didn't! Hopefully the cooler lasts a few more trips like this but, I got my money's worth I think. Thanks Coleman!

Nice larger sized cooler that keeps contents cold for a long time. We used it for traveling and it kept frozen food frozen for our 16 hour trip! Easy to transport, sturdy, and durable. I would recommend, and would buy this item again.
