It is a great deal for the price. I did have to cut up some of the pieces because they were just too large. The foam is comfortable once I cut down a few of the pieces.

We got this to fill a couple of pillows that we got for our teenage daughter. They are very large pillows (20 in x 20 in) and this 5 lbs of filling was split between the 2 of them and it fluffed them out very well. This memory foam filling is soft while keeping it's size and remaining firm. Pictures show them on the bed and a comparison to a standard throw pillow (that came with our couches). There was a slight chemical smell to the foam, which is why we knocked one star off of the review. It did subside after a week or so out of the packaging (it came in a vacuum sealed package which allows for smaller packaging).

I love having a nice big supply of this at the ready. I initially got it to fill a few pillows, I have one pictured. I think they came out wonderfully. They are very comfortable to use, not too lumpy or heavy, and you’re able to position and shape them well. My dog also tore apart one of my daughter’s favorite stuffed animals, and I was able to replace some of the damage filling with this & the bear is more cuddly than ever now! I think these makes sense to buy in bulk. Once you have it, you’re constantly finding uses for it or using a bit to plump up your used/tired furniture a bit to revive it. The price is definitely fair and the foam itself is good quality. It’s not that hard/almost melted seeming, jagged edge type. The vast majority was all soft and fluffy.

Not the best choice for memory foam.. I gave them 3 stars because they do show the size of the memory foam in the pictures, not misleading anyone. But the shreds are so small it doesn't work well for stuffing pillows or beanbag chairs. If this was half the price of the competition then maybe it would be an ok buy. What really bothered me though was the weird brown discoloration spots on some parts of the foam. At first I thought it was possibly mold! But upon closer inspection really It looks to be just slightly burnt? Doesn't smell burnt or moldy though and I've had not problem from using it.. Overall I think it's safe to use but the value is lacking.
