My girls share a bedroom, they are 5 and 2 years old. This hamper is so cute for them. It probably holds about 2 loads of laundry so it could take about a week or longer to fill up. Only reason I take off one star is because I don’t see the lid holding up. It is attached by a hinge so when it’s opened all the way back, it will dangle down at an angle, and if you were to press down it would snap at the hinges. Not something I’d normally be concerned about, if this wasn’t in a kids’ room. My kids are pretty good and don’t go around damaging things, but I can see them accidentally not being careful one day and pushing it down. I don’t regret the purchase though, as the lid isn’t a deal-breaker to me, we can live without it once the day comes that it breaks. I really just wanted durable, hard bin that came in a cute feminine color, and this was the most appealing one I found. ... show more

I spent a long time searching for a hamper to bring to college and I'm really glad I picked this one. It's a great size and very easy to carry. It fits in my little college closet and I find myself missing it when I go home over break. It can fit around a week's worth of laundry.
