Not user friendly
I was shocked to find it being necessary to unbolt Allen the jigs plate in order to rotate that plate to 45degrees; the battery wiggles slightly in its holder; and its difficult getting accustom to simply turning the jig on and off. I would of thought Milwaukee would have built something more user friendly.

On / Off Switch Location
I'm a remodeler and trim carpenter with 50 years of experience. My team and I have multiple Milwaukee tools and are very happy with their performance. I have used many different jig saws in my life and really like the barrel type jig saw. I purchased this battery saw without looking at it very close. The first time I used it I noticed that you cannot turn it on and off with the hand holding the barrel. You must use your second hand to turn it on and off. I can't remember another hand tool that works this way. I have used it on and off now for 8 months and have not found a use where this switch location makes sense. I would not purchase one again and am surprised that Milwaukee even makes a product like this. Very disappointing and in some instances unsafe.

SUPER HANDY... with a few drawbacks. But get it anyway.
Works great, but it burns through the batteries FAST. If you're in the trades, have a charger and battery on standby at all times, or it will leave you half done. It's also too long if you need to cut a sinkhole out in a countertop close to a cabinet. And if you're using it for an extended period, it gets HOT. Having said that, I use it every day, and love it.
