    • It's the biggest one they make so....
The 12.0 ah is the biggest M18 battery Milwaukee makes - although I just got an email announcing a new battery that is a 6.0 with the power of a 12.0. Anyway, at the time of this purchase, this was the biggest, baddest battery in the M18 line and when I saw the price drop to under two bills, I had to get one. Not sure I actually needed it for a circular saw or an impact driver but again.... I'm a sucker for "Bigger is Better Always." I acknowledge that that isn't ALWAYS true but at the very least most of the time bigger LOOKS better unless it's a gut or ears or maybe nose hairs.. but I digress. I put in on my impact driver and it simultaneously looked awesome and incredibly stupid. The battery was almost bigger than the tool. In the rear handled saw, it looks great and performs great. I didn't do any testing to see if the saw ran faster or had more torque or ran cooler or anything. I didn't need to. It looks more powerful and its bigger than any of my buddy's Teal batteries and that's good enough for me. Full disclosure: Nobody sent me anything free for my review. I paid for the battery myself. Having said that, if the Milwaukee people read this and want to send me some cool stuff to test - like that new battery or i dunno.. a miter saw.. I'll test the crap out of it and give an honest review. I can't be bought!!! but I might be rent-able. ... show more

Used this on my grinder and rarely have to charge it. Unfortunately have to purchase the rapid charger for it but still works extremely well. If I catch it on a sale again most likely will buy more

This battery is very strong and the package was like it came from Home Depot. I havenโ€™t had any problems with this battery use it with my blower and weed eater and it still showed a full charge..now I have a reg size yard in a new sub division but the battery works great.

UPDATE: It for sure last longer than my 8ah. Packaging and battery looks like genuine Milwaukee. It came fully charged which was weird. It's usually not good to store these kind of batteries full. The only difference from my other batteries is that the Red battery life indicators are a lot dimmer and you can't see them out in the sun. I'll be using it in my 14" top-handle, 8" hatchet, weed trimmer and leaf blower. I've been using 8ah which are a lot cheaper, smaller in size and a bit lighter. ... show more

Battery works good. Long life and holding up. However I ordered the 12.0hdโ€™s and received the xc6.0 batteries. Got ripped off on the price by the seller but decided to keep them after my wife had already opened them up and I checked around town at the prices.
