I picked Milwaukee battery tools to minimize chargers and batteries. Two battery types and one charger type. The 12vdc and 18vdc batteries are very good. And the selection of tools is also very good. This driver does anything I need. Any screws to and including 8 inch lag bolts go in without effort. Works with small not/ bolt hardware as well. The torque settings and light button are easy to access. A premium battery tool I recommend it. ... show more

I so want this driver to work!!! It's light weight, compact and quieter than normal drivers. But used it once and it was satisfactory, then went to use it on another job this week and it has zero power - won't put a screw into butter. I have an old Milwaukee driver (loud as heck) that I can't kill .. 10 years old and absolutely won't stop. Just hate the noise. I guess I'll try and pursue warranty / replacement. :( ... show more

I got a sweet deal that I'm not sure how, but don't care. I took a chance at something different. Have used and abused my other milwaukee drivers. My primary application is fastening into cfmf. This new drivers has 4 settings 1,2,3 and metal. It has plenty of guts to drive grk's into timber and counter sink. The coolest feature is the metal mode. It spins fast for the drill point to cut. Then once the threads engage it slows down and gets torque(y). It's just cool! A lot less (none so far) stripped out or snapped off heads or taint hits. You know pushing too hard before you're in. It makes it easier for newbies who don't have that touch yet. Guys who get stuck and couldn't drive a screw to save their lives. It's super smooth and quiet too. Good job milwaukee. Had this long enough to hang drywall and use with Kreg screws. This model is excellent when driving screws into wood it give a certain feel that my other Milwaukee drivers just don't have. The tool is also amazing with drywall for the same reason it gives an amazing feel that allowed me to produce a greater quality of work and much better results when hanging drywall. My other Milwaukee driver just seemed too powerful and would blow through the drywall where this one will not. So need power with a light touch- this is to tool. But I use my other impact for metal work. And to be fair I haven't had the chance test this one with metal work. So 5 starts for wood work, 5 stars with drywall and 4.5 stars for other applications cause it gets the job done. I'm happy I bought this. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Awesome tool, I use this everyday at work. Batteries stay charged forever and has tons of torque. The surge makes it extremely quiet.
