Great diagonal cutters/side cutters. use these for helping cut door strikes on metal commercial doors. these cutters surpass the original non compound designed cutters tremendously. these pliers require far less strength to make the same cuts i was making before, these cutters are also much stronger and rubust compared to a competing brands hand tools that the cutters actually broke trying to cut the same material that these cut with ease. I bought these cutters for a big fencing project on my farm and they worked better than I expected. The biggest advantage is the spring action. After each cut, the jaws automatically open again, which means I do not have to pry them apart by hand after each cut. When you are cutting a lot of wire mesh fencing, that feature alone feels like a lifesaver. It saves time, reduces hand fatigue, and keeps you working at a steady pace without constant stops. The cutting power is excellent. They go through fence wire, clips, and heavy mesh cleanly and without much effort. The handles feel comfortable and the tool has a solid, reliable feel all around. After using them for several hours straight, I did not experience the strain that usually comes from regular cutters. If you work on a farm or do any large fencing jobs, these cutters are absolutely worth having. The spring action makes all the difference and I am very glad I added them to my toolbox. This is a hardy compound wire cutter. However the cutting jaws do not mate as well as they should. 22 GA wire is not cut through. Larger wire is cut just fine. The cuing edges do not meet. They bypass each other by 0.5mm. I am keeping it, but I would not give as a gift.

These pliers are efficient. They cut very good and have a spring back motion to make cutting through wires very easy. I’ve been using them to cut through 14 gauge tortoise fence and they work great I am very pleased!
