    • Good, affordable cutters.
Like other Dewalt hand tools, these do the job. The double action, makes cutting much easier on thicker things. I bought these to go in my boat for emergency hook cutting. I sprayed 3 coats of clear coat on them, as a rust preventer. The other reviewers talk about the lock not working well.......it seems decent to me. If your using the lock constantly, perhaps I'd have an issue too. I don't plan to, so I will update if that's another issue. The cutters are decent sharp, and hardened. These work phenomenally for stripping wires, and are easy to lock and unlock with one hand. Only complaint is that I have to try more than once to cut wires.

Where I work I sometimes need something that will cut cable seals. The equipment supplied for this wouldn't cut warm butter. Decided an investment was in order and this does not disappoint. Cuts through cable seals like nothing. Easy to hold, very little pressure needs to be applied, and voila---job accomplished. ... show more

They are spring loaded handles so it will stay open all the time it does have a catch to keep them closed it cuts really well if you have small hands it is hard to use
