Excellent pants

I work in an open mine and during the summer it usually runs around 105° to 110°. I've searched for some pants that would help me not sweat so much but they don't exist. So the next best thing is comfortable pants which makes it more bearable. I've tried several kinds off Amazon and these Carhartt are the best. They're made very well and the material does breath some. There is no binding and the light color helps since I'm in direct sun all day. The Carhartts cost a little more but they are 100% worth it. I like them enough that I have ordered 8 pairs for work. I even wear them around the house on weekends, the rare weekends I get to stay home. If you're looking for some good work pants or just some comfortable pants that look good enough to wear to town these for the bill and they have the Carhartt toughness also.

Working man’s pants that actually hold up

I’ve put these Carhartt pants through some serious work, and they’ve held up better than any pants I’ve ever owned. From crawling around on job sites to long days in the shop, they take a beating and keep going without tearing or wearing thin. The material is tough but still comfortable enough to wear all day. The relaxed fit gives you plenty of room to move without feeling baggy, and they don’t bind up when you’re bending, kneeling, or climbing. Stitching and seams are solid with no signs of loose threads or weak spots. What really stands out is how well they hold up after repeated washes. They don’t shrink up weird or lose their shape, and the durability stays consistent over time. If you need work pants that are made for the working man, these are it. By far the toughest, longest lasting pants I’ve ever had. I have may pair and I’ll definitely be buying more.

Love These Pants

These are currently my favorite pants. I have three different colors. I use to wear double fronts and these are a nice casual wear change. Fit well and durable.

Fit different than last 2 pairs I already have
Size: 32W x 30L
Color: Dark Khaki
These are listed and tagged as Relaxed fit but compared to the same style I already have 2 pairs of they are baggy and loose fitting in the hips, thighs and legs. The waist fits and measures the same but that's it. Tho the ones I already have and these new ones are both 32x30 the new pair is 1" longer inseam, the rise is also longer and from the hips on down to ankles they are quite loose and baggy with apparently the same loose cut fit as the the heavier weight canvas duck version I used to work in for many years. Those were listed as loose. I love the comfort of this fabric. Feels like brushed cotton and have found from my experience that these surprisingly tho they are lighter weight material and don't have the coarse weave of the canvas duck, take much longer to wear out. Tho these are not cut or fit the same as my previous 2 pairs they are very comfortable because of the fabric and the baggy fit. fwiw....155lbs 5'7" no gut, 32 waist x 30 long, could probably go with 31" waist next pair.

The Perfect Work Pants

Excellent! I absolutely love it! I own six pairs of Carhartt pants, and this is my favorite pair of the bunch! They are roomy and comfortable; although the sizing runs a bit large, they shrink slightly after washing—which, for me, makes the fit absolutely perfect !

A better inseam.

The 32 inseam of this pant breaks nicely upon my shoe. Compared to the 34 inseam that eventually drags the ground and becomes caught under the heel and walked on. There seems to be very little consistency in clothing measurements upon different brand/maker choices. Wish I could find odd inseam measurements. I steer clear of alterations when it comes to a jeans. I'm 6'5" on most days depending on many factors.

Disappointing sizing - Material was OK

I had to return them. I at most and even after Thanksgiving am 34 W 34L However I did buy 35W x 34L thinking I'd have a bit more flex because I am actually a carpenter who wears carpenter jeans. Lots of bending and kneeling all the time. The 34W x 34L were so tight that I could not even get anywhere near the button slit. I thought of using my pants stretcher but all that I would do is weaken the material and belt loops. I gave 3 stars because it felt like the material was a little better than the rest of the carpenter pants that rip in the crotch or backside and that is where the disappointing aspect is. There was a 35W and a 36W but I believe that even a 36W would have been too small. The next size was a 38 which I'd probably be swimming in. I would have exchanged the 37W pair had they made them and continued to buy 5 more pairs. Now I just have to get my money back and try to find another decent pair of jeans that doesn't rip as soon as I sit down with my cell phone in my back pocket.
