  • 100% worth it 100% worth it
I have been on the fence about purchasing this band saw. There are cheaper options, other methods, and risks when buying at this price. First off: Clo was written on the battery insert. First thing that came to mind was "clone." Who knows, maybe, but remaining lettering and build quality looks authentic. Box and packaging looks authentic. I had to reduce to 4 stars in value becuase of that. Secondly, the saw is awesome. Battery powdered tool absolutely beats wall. Take it anywhere, cut anything, very little noise, very fast cutting. Cannot emphasize how fast this is. Find a scrapped truck and want the leaf springs for knife/ tool making, easy. Need to cut emt, no problem. Rebar, square and flat stock, copper, thick wires; zero problems. Old pallets, abandoned hardwood furniture, cedar... (Micro saw mill for burles and turning, yep). Cut off tool for lathe... the possibilities are literally endless. The cost of an angle grinder, jigsaw, dremel, sawzaw/hacksaw and vibratory tool adds up to one of these with many bucks to spare. A DIY table or aftermarket table is a must. Lot's of attachment possibilities and all of them should be considered. Regardless if "it's cheaper" to do it a different way. This tool is like a good worksite planer or table saw. Hobbyist, professional, random engineer that wants to check things and not rely on a shop, this is your tool. Really happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Better than I expected Better than I expected
I always thought this was an odd tool but what a GREAT saw to have for precise metal cutting. I mounted mine to use as a vertical cutting saw and so far it has performed flawlessly. I reatlike all the Milwaukee M18 tools and this one is so handy I even bought a second one to mount as a chop saw.

  • GREAT TOOL FOR METAL CUTTING GREAT TOOL FOR METAL CUTTING
Awesome tool. Cant be replaced for what it does. Blades last 100x longer than a saws all. I highly recommend. Delivery was about a week. New in box with blade.

  • Love that it doesn't have safety system
Great for cutting unit strut and other material. Able to cut with one hand and other holding objects. Very accurate cuts. User friendly for beginners. Love the design of it. Weights less than the power corded one but depending of the battery size.

  • "Free" blades/bands not all that good.
Generally, I like this. It does what it is supposed to do. It is a bit awkward to use and if you don't use the stops to brace it will jump around a bit. The size of the opening is definitely and issue for some uses. Choose the size of bandsaw carefully. For a short cut this works as it should. I used it on steel framing for a deck and it was vastly better than the alternative of a sawzall. However, it does want to stray a bit on a long cut like that and one has to flip the material over and try and get the saw/blade back out. A bit of a pain. Putting in a new blade is "so-so" on ease. Not terrible, not super easy. However, it does seem to maintain/adjust its tracking well. Buy extra blades! ... show more
