  • Awesome tool
Style: With Carrying Case
Powerful saw. Had no idea how good this tool worked. Top quality and durable. Completely satisfied. Great battery life.

  • Great saw.
Style: With Carrying Case
This saw is the only sawzall you will need. Arrived on time and as pictured and sold by Find It At the Bay and fulfilled by Amazon. Amazon enclosed it in a very protective shipping box with packing and in pristine condition. Substantial red plastic hard case; one 5 ah battery as pictured; substantial saw construction; nothing cheap here; is not light but is balanced for my hands. Battery charged up in under an hour. Used it to cut away old PVC drain lines and install new PVC plumbing. No issues. If you are cutting an object to a certain length - say 10 inches, then add 1/8 inch to that dimension and cut at 10 1/8 inch line. I once owned a corded sawzall from another prominent manufacturer which worked OK but would not hold blades securely in place with its lever action locker - quite a bit of side ways play in its jaws. The Milwaukee Fuel has jaws that grip tight - no sideways play. Happy Camper. ... show more

  • It does come with the plastic case pictured
Style: With Carrying Case
I was reluctant to buy this item because of 2 reviews that complained theirs came with a bag but that isn't the case (sorry for the pun). This is a great tool as has been my experience with all Milwaukee products. It comes just as pictured, with one battery, one metal cutting blade, an M18/M12 charger. and the M18 FUEL case that is pictured (note: there are compartments in the case for 2 batteries, which is great because I can carry an extra battery from one of my other M18 tools). I have always loved Milwaukee cases because everything has a place and the last thing I want to do at the end of the day is try to wrestle a tool back into a case that is ill designed, too small or illogical. It's pretty heavy but balanced well with the battery in place and the LED light helps in tight spots. Great tool, plenty of power, recharges fast and a great price. Yeah, I like it. ... show more

  • Peak reciprocating saw
Style: With Carrying Case
There are a lot of good uses for a sawzall. In our case, there's pruning. A lot of pruning. We don't have much chainsaw scale work, but a lot of vegetation just a bit too big for long handled bypass pruners. The old plug in sawzall was a big hassle, dragging extension cords everywhere, so a brushless motor battery saw made sense for us. The bonuses were compatibility with our other Milwaukee tools and batteries, and the fact that this saw is very good. It cuts better, handles better, and lasts longer than I expected. With the kit 5 AMP/hr battery, I can completely remove two or three sizable (about 4 inches at the base) trees on one charge, or cut tons of one inch branches to fit in the yard waste bins. A typical all purpose blade works great. Now I just need the perfect pruning blade. ... show more

  • Great saw after a week of hard use
Style: With Carrying Case
After having an orange recip saw break after 3 “lifetime” repairs I decided to go back to Milwaukee and stop spending my money on postage. Out of the box this saw feels much robust. After using it for a week in the field I haven’t a complaint. Running gear is quiet and the vibration of the tool is far less than the orange saw. No slapping sounds typically found it some saws that suggest poor gear engagement or bad geometry with the stroke. Plenty of power and The blade release lever is a nice touch for a tool that is used in dirty environments , gives extra leverage when the blade release is full of dust. The 5 amp hour battery is fine but if you are using this saw for a lot of cuts that require a flexed blade get the 9 amp or at least an extra 5 amp ... show more

  • Great Tool - Just Not As Pictured!
Style: With Carrying Case
Overall, the tool is a beast & performance wise, you will not be disappointed. It was a little heavier than I anticipated, but was still able to cut one-handed when necessary. You will never be disappointed with the core power & performance of this tool - an easy buy with the tool reputation that means it will last. Power- you are buying Milwaukee because of the power, right? No disappointment here as it performed every task I needed, including cutting 6" tree limbs with little problem. It made easy work of 1" and 2" branches and chewed through bigger 3" & 4" like a beast. I was tempted to take a stab at the full 25" tree with this just to prove a point. Battery - obviously you will want/need two, so do yourself a favor & snag up at least a 5.0 to have a spare charging (found it on Amazon for <$40). I got just over an hour of run time on one full charge. Recharge took over an hour so I would recommend either three batteries if planning for several hours of continuous cutting or just pace cutting accordingly. Vibration - a very steady machine that had a lot less reverb than others I've used, although certainly some is there. This is not a compact, true one-handed machine. But what you get in return more than makes up for it. I was still able to perform one-handed cuts with a little effort and had no problem for cuts up in trees using one hand for support. Ease-of-Use - Top notch & impressive. The quick release for blade (recommend buying the simple combo pack of blades on Amazon - great bundle) made starting out & changing up a breeze. It is a true grab-n-go saw that is fun to use! Caution - only one add-on wish would have been a cutting shield so that you dont eat sawdust for close cuts & overhead cuts, but that's with every sawzall. Case - i did NOT receive the nice hard shell case that was pictured in this posting - instead it was a collapsing bag - which is a shame because this review was an easy '5' if it just had what was promised. The bag is fine & sturdy, but if you are paying for a case of some point, you really should know exactly what you are paying for. I would not have purchased from this vendor if i knew it was the bag instead of a hard case. ... show more

  • As powerful as a corded saw
Style: With Carrying Case
This sawsall is amazing. It's easily as powerful as a corded one. Not dealing with a cord makes using this far easier than the corded kind. The battery life is pretty good and uses the same battery as my other Milwaukee FUEL tools. The saw is rugged and well built. If I had one complaint it's that you can only put the saw blade in two positions, facing up or down. The keyless chuck is nice, but can be a little difficult to operate relative to some other brands I've seen. Overall this is fantastic saw that's built to last rough use. ... show more
