  • Great saw.
Style: With Carrying Case
This saw is the only sawzall you will need. Arrived on time and as pictured and sold by Find It At the Bay and fulfilled by Amazon. Amazon enclosed it in a very protective shipping box with packing and in pristine condition. Substantial red plastic hard case; one 5 ah battery as pictured; substantial saw construction; nothing cheap here; is not light but is balanced for my hands. Battery charged up in under an hour. Used it to cut away old PVC drain lines and install new PVC plumbing. No issues. If you are cutting an object to a certain length - say 10 inches, then add 1/8 inch to that dimension and cut at 10 1/8 inch line. I once owned a corded sawzall from another prominent manufacturer which worked OK but would not hold blades securely in place with its lever action locker - quite a bit of side ways play in its jaws. The Milwaukee Fuel has jaws that grip tight - no sideways play. Happy Camper. ... show more

  • I love this thing.
Style: With Carrying Case
Purchased this to replace my OLD (6.5 amp) corded Sawzall. That one was underpowered compared to the newer models. Doing demo with it was sloooow. I was hesitant to try a cordless Sawzall but after watching a couple of YouTube videos I decided to give this one a try. Oh man.... it's awesome. My buddies have corded saws a pretty nice Hitachi and a really powerful Makita but they both love this thing and have borrowed it several times. This has a hook for hanging - very helpful is you're on a ladder or working on beams/joists etc. In those situations not having a cord is a blessing - one less thing to wrap around your legs or get underfoot. It's powerful and can run with the 15 amp corded sawzalls 100%. I cant see myself ever going back to corded. The only downside is it adds one more charger to the toolbox but I can live with that. Gives me more options for future upgrades. ... show more

  • A Must Have For The Farm!
Style: With Carrying Case
Just used this to top 75 4"x4" pressure treated fence posts. I was looking for a tool that would cut a post with one pass, and someone recommended a sawsall. I did the research and settled on this one. And I am really happy with my choice. This is a relatively heavy saw but, considering the rpms it puts out, along with far less vibration than I expected, I like the trade off. Plus, it feels extremely well built. I've never had a sawsall and there was a small learning curve as to the best way to cut, then it was a breeze. I cut 45 posts with a 5Ah battery before it seemed to start losing some power, and I switched to the spare I also purchased. I used a 9" Milwaukee ax blade and it's still going strong after 75 cuts (only 80 more posts to go). Will buy the pruning blade, and expect to get lots and lots of use out of this, while maintaining the 35 acres. This will be way better than using the chainsaw. ... show more

  • Peak reciprocating saw
Style: With Carrying Case
There are a lot of good uses for a sawzall. In our case, there's pruning. A lot of pruning. We don't have much chainsaw scale work, but a lot of vegetation just a bit too big for long handled bypass pruners. The old plug in sawzall was a big hassle, dragging extension cords everywhere, so a brushless motor battery saw made sense for us. The bonuses were compatibility with our other Milwaukee tools and batteries, and the fact that this saw is very good. It cuts better, handles better, and lasts longer than I expected. With the kit 5 AMP/hr battery, I can completely remove two or three sizable (about 4 inches at the base) trees on one charge, or cut tons of one inch branches to fit in the yard waste bins. A typical all purpose blade works great. Now I just need the perfect pruning blade. ... show more

  • It does come with the plastic case pictured
Style: With Carrying Case
I was reluctant to buy this item because of 2 reviews that complained theirs came with a bag but that isn't the case (sorry for the pun). This is a great tool as has been my experience with all Milwaukee products. It comes just as pictured, with one battery, one metal cutting blade, an M18/M12 charger. and the M18 FUEL case that is pictured (note: there are compartments in the case for 2 batteries, which is great because I can carry an extra battery from one of my other M18 tools). I have always loved Milwaukee cases because everything has a place and the last thing I want to do at the end of the day is try to wrestle a tool back into a case that is ill designed, too small or illogical. It's pretty heavy but balanced well with the battery in place and the LED light helps in tight spots. Great tool, plenty of power, recharges fast and a great price. Yeah, I like it. ... show more
