    • Greatest Battery Powered Right Angle Impact
The media could not be loaded. Bought as a replacement for my Milwaukee ratcheting 3/8. I had bought a newer Milwaukee 1/4 ratcheting wrench. To replace an older Milwaukee 1/4 and noticed the RPMs were higher and had more breaking torque. I figured since this was classified as right angle impact and not a ratcheting wrench, I would have similar results that I had with my 1/4. The main selling point is the 200 ft/ibs breaking torque. I didn't believe it at first and thought the most this 12v battery powered impact with a relatively small battery pack if 6 amp hours would at most net me 50 ft/ibs breakaway. The video posted with this review shows that this impact can at least break away 120 ft/ibs no problem (at full charge). I was blown away. I've had older Milwaukee 1/2 impacts that couldn't break slightly corroded lugs on passenger wheels brand new and that one was rated 500 ft/ibs and had a similar battery life as the smaller batteries. I've used the impact to tighten some things. The tightening/loosening settings goes from 1-3 then one last setting for continuous torque. One of the selling points was that the impact can sense when you are at 15 ft/ibs and quit tightening to avoid over torquing. At setting 1, it felt like it doesn't quite get to 10 ft/ibs and at 3 I definitely got over 15 ft/ibs. Haven't really verified what exactly each setting goes to, but as with any power tool, you are responsible for the result. I always go over the bolt/fastner with hand tools to verify. 5/5 right now I couldn't recommend this tool enough. I still will need to see the longevity of the tool and will need to test it out on gasoline engine headstuds to see further viability of the tool. I still see this as my everyday tool. ... show more

This...is a bad boy. Bought for one purpose and it did not disappoint. 1/2" bolts are no problem.

    • I should've bought it sooner
I've had this right angle impact on my list for a while. Just had to replace the starter on my truck, and this came in handy to remove the transmission support bracket as was required to access the starter bolts. Dealing with stuck rusty fasteners in tight places is never fun and can easily make a 45 minute job turn into a several hour job. The 3 bolts I had to remove were installed with red loctite from the factory, and also had 6 years of road salt eating away at them. Given how everything was set up, there was no way I could have gotten a standard impact on these, even the Milwaukee M12 stubby. I was able to get onto these fasteners with the M12 right angle impact and broke them free with no trouble. Doing those by hand would have been a pain and would have added a lot of extra time onto this job, so I'm glad I thought ahead and ordered this for the job. This impact is FAST. On the highest setting, it will buzz fasteners off faster than you can keep up with. The forward/reverse button is located in a great place next to the trigger, so it's easy to access in tight places. I have a couple M12 ratchets so I was on the fence about this. If you are often dealing with stuck fasteners in tight places, do not hesitate to buy this tool. I can tell this will quickly become one of my favorites. Great job Milwaukee! ... show more

This tool works good for not torquing too hard for its last setting. Keeping the tool from jerking out of your hand or damaging the nut. The 3 torque settings it offers are okay nothing to crazy can jerk your hand when set at the 3rd setting. This tool will not remove all stubborn nuts, but has been the most successful for being wireless. The tool isn’t very suitable for tight spaces but it makes up for its power. As well as the driver square holds the socket very loose. I haven’t had a socket fall off yet but it feels like it could. Other than that depending on how you use it, it’s not the most universal but it’s good for what it’s worth. ... show more
