    • Great for rod and strut
Cuts all hanger materials (all-thread, uni-strut, etc) quickly with the included blade. Will buy more of the same. It’s a great bandsaw I can operate with one hand. I‘m a pipefitter and use it everyday, but it’s a little larger than I expected. I wanted to get a small bandsaw just for rod and strut, like the non-fuel M12 bandsaw. This one though, is pretty much the size of the M18 fuel bandsaw. I’ve used both and it cuts close to the same. Only difference is you can’t start the blade against the material. You have to start the blade first or it will hang. The 18V hardly ever hangs. So, if you want the smallest bandsaw just for rod and strut, go with non-fuel M12. If you want this size bandsaw, I would take the M18 Fuel, as it’s a similar price and size, but has mo powa baby. ... show more

Milwaukee M12 bandsaw is great and this new edition is much better, larger tube opening, now has a hook for support, and is still light with good power.
