wasn't sure about this product at first but after I had used it several times on a project that required straight drilling it was awesome. no issues. I have a small garage and getting the drill press out for small projects is a hassle. With this i no longer have to do that. You mark the spot and secure it with a clamp and drill away. If you want straight holes but don't have a drill press this is an affordable alternative. Only thing I wish is it had a wider base.

I had to drill over 200 holes in my deck posts for a cable rail system. These holes had to be level and emerge on the opposite side of the posts in exactly the same place, level and centered.
