It's great to start small, but with this incredible machine, you tend to want to do more, which means bigger. Everything you need to expand your ProVerXL V2 is included, including all of the high quality machined parts and all of the necessary screws. Nicely packaged and complete set of parts for the expanded Prover XL v2 base. The upgrade went well and it is a nice quality solution, but with the span from the 2 Y-axis rails now being 810mm, there is going to be increased possibility of sag in the middle under heavy work. Hence, you may want to get one or two additional 2040 aluminium extrusions to put underneath between the Y-Axis rails for stability ... show more

Introduced to much flex into system affecting accuracy. There are some home cooked solutions on Etsy (One that I’m currently installing) but thats additional cost. Perhaps I should have just purchased a larger format system meant for larger work.
