This Milani mascara has to be the most volumizing I have ever used. I have been wearing make-up for 50 years and tried many called volumizing mascara and never got this kind of results from one coat much less two. I love the results. These kids are on to something. I have zero burning, eye watering, or irritation with this brand. I have had reactions in the past and had to toss them out new. So, I am pleased with that fact. What I don't like: There are no instructions. I know how to use mascara but nothing telling me to dry between coats or second coat while still damp. So I tried it both ways not really seeing a difference. It goes on wet- really wet. I just put my hair dryer in my face after to make sure it was completely dry before taking off. I'm not one to check my make-up more than once in the car mirror. I wanted to make sure it was dry before being so pleased and finding out later it smudged. It last well over 24 hours and it is easy to remove. I like easy to remove or washable because no wear and tear to my eyelashes. Even tho it goes on wet I believe after a few weeks of being opened it may dry to a less runny consistency. I just can't believe the volume and thickness I get with one coat. I think this one will be even better in a couple weeks time. The tube is full not paying for the tube but actually getting some mascara in it.

I happen to be a fan of Milani products, so I was excited to try this mascara. And I have to say, I found it impressive. This is the kind of mascara that makes you forget you're wearing mascara, and I mean that in a good way. It goes on smoothly with no globs; it's lightweight; it wears well with no irritation or flaking; and it comes off fairly easily with a makeup wipe when it's time to clean your lashes. It has a nice curved brush that is easy to use, and it applies the mascara just to your lashes, without leaving any stray blotches to clean up. It's not a mascara that screams "falsies," but rather gives you a natural look, like your own lashes but better. It's not at all brittle, and it does not give your lashes that spiky look. Now I have always preferred a dark brown mascara to a black one. Black is too harsh for a lot of people, unless you are a brunette, and more complementary to my own natural color. This is a nice deep brown that looks much more natural on me than any black would. Milani is one of the better drugstore brands, and their cosmetics are always very reasonably priced. At under $14, this mascara is a good buy, and priced competitively with other top end drugstore mascara. If you are one who prefers a more natural looking, but long and well defined lash, this is the mascara to get. Recommend.

This mascara definitely does a great job fanning out the lashes! I was shocked when I saw how fanned out my lashes were after just one coat. One coat gives an “everyday” glam that’s lifted and separated, and 3 light coats with a lash comb in between gave lots of drama! While it’s marketed to be flake and smudge proof, I did experience both of those after 3 hours of wear. I was able to touch it up, but it didn’t meet those claims for me. I think this mascara is still a great option if it fits your criteria!

This mascara delivers on its promises. The curved brush is not what I’m used to and I frankly didn’t like it but it did seem to grab my lashes and lift them in a way that a straight brush doesn’t. I have eyelashes that grow straight out. I cannot get them to curl without an eyelash curler. These seem to give at least a little curl which made me pretty happy. I left it on for 12 hours and had not problems with flaking or smudges. I did have smudges after I first put it on because I have hooded eyes so it’s extremely difficult to get any mascara on without some smudging. The brown shade was okay even though I prefer black. I did see noticeable length and volume on my lashes. It layered smoothly and I felt I could keep building but stopped after two applications. I wanted to see how a light use would last. I had to use makeup remover to get it off, but that was expected. I really like that it’s cruelty free, and made in Italy. At almost $14 in January of ’26 I thought it was about mid-range and a fair price for everyday use. My eyes are pretty sensitive to flaky as I’ve an eye operation, so I was greatly impressed that there weren’t any flakes. I have no trouble recommending this.

Not a fan, and I like other Milani products. The color is good, considering also I never buy brown mascara but was looking forward to trying it out. However, the consistency is not great - very thick and clumpy. I like the idea of spending less on mascara than my stand-by Clinique but I think I'll stick with what I'm used to and like.

I received this brown mascara and I’ve been using it daily for about a week. I’m very picky when it comes to mascara. I normally wear black mascara, so I was curious how this shade would look, and I’m pleasantly surprised. The brown color is softer and more natural looking, which is perfect for daytime makeup or a no-makeup makeup look. It enhances my lashes without looking too dramatic, which I really like for work and casual wear. It goes well with my green eyes. The formula is lightweight and smooth, and it goes on without clumping. One coat gives a natural look, and two coats add noticeable length and volume. It holds a curl well and doesn’t feel heavy on my lashes. I also appreciate that it doesn’t flake or smudge throughout the day, even after long wear. Removal is easy with micellar water or regular makeup remover. The wand is well designed and separates lashes nicely, so they don’t stick together. It reaches the smaller lashes in the corners of my eyes without making a mess. Overall, would recommend.
