Very lightweight belt. The locking buckle has been very reliable - no problems. Easy to adjust tension / and continuously variable. If you need to shorten the length, simply use scissors to cut and then, by applying flame from lighter or stove, you can eliminate any fraying (this works - see the description of the product). Reasonable cost, very happy with this purchase.

This is a good belt for the money. I bought a similar belt for $15 sold by LINEVI but could find it on Amazon. This style belt is nice because they are infinitely adjustable so you can loosen or tighten as needed.. Also super durable nylon. These looked the same as the LINEVI but a lot less money. I have a 42 inch waste, and these just barely fit with enough extra to just get to my pants belt loop. I'd get the next size up if I had it to do over. Also, while the buckle looks the same as the LINEVI YKK plastic buckle, it is not as smooth working. Also, I bought 1 black and 1 tan belt. The tan belt is gold, sparkly bright gold, and looks like it should be worn by a stripper at a '60's go-go club. I would not buy the tan one unless I wanted shiny gold one. Still, for the money, they work fine, would buy again but I think these belts might last at least 20 years.

It was too long but that's ok. It can be cut to size which is what I did. I have the 1inch size in black for light cargo pants. Now that it's winter I wanted the 1.5inch blue belt for denim and heavy thick pants. I just cut off the excess belt and ran the cut end, over the flame on my gas stove, for a few seconds, to keep it from unraveling. It worked well and the belt holds tight. I was so happy with the first belt, that I ordered the second one. I'm very happy with this belt.

Yes this is study and plastic and it also feels like a piece of cheap Chinese workmanship. The webbing is probably rated at 250-300 lbs. It’s just holding up pants (and maybe a holster) it doesn’t need to hold me into an ejection seat. It’s about 2-3 times as heavy and thick as any belt I wore in my Navy career. On the buckle you can see the seams were it came out of a mold. They didn’t even bother to file down the rough edges which you can do easily with an nail file but just shows the poor workmanship. Again it’s sturdy and will probably last a long time.
