I've tried quite a few pimple patches, and these are the ones I keep coming back to. They're easy to use, stay on well, and do a good job helping with those annoying spots that seem to show up at the worst times. For me, they work best when I put one on as soon as I notice a blemish starting. By the next morning, it's usually less noticeable and looks much calmer. I also like that the patch helps keep me from touching or picking at the area. The patches are thin and blend in reasonably well, so they're not overly noticeable. They stay put through the night and peel off easily in the morning without irritating the skin. What I appreciate most is that they're simple. No strong smell, no mess, and no complicated routine. These are magic! I wish they had these when I was growing up. I was very skeptical but they are very effective at absorbing the pimple gunk so your tweens and teens can avoid squeezing the problem areas and avoid potentially making acne worse. They are very easy to use, just clean the area and put the patch on like a sticker and by morning it has pulled out all the gross stuff without irritating your skin. I bought these because I ran out of Curology patches that I got with the free trial. These work similarly; you’ll need one or two patches to fully get rid of the pimple— it depends on how large & inflamed it is. Even if you need two the first patch will still a do a good job of draining most the gross fluid out. I like that these are more translucent/transparent than some other brands I’ve seen. They’re not obnoxious looking if you’re wearing one or two in the daytime. The adhesion has been great so far. I’ve tried it on bare and moisturized skin and either way it holds up. Once it’s been stuck in place for a few minutes you can apply a moisturizer on your face OVER the patches without them slipping off. Just use a gentle touch. There’s probably cheaper pimple patches from smaller brands but $4.49 (before tax) is definitely a reasonable cost for 30 patches So I gave it 4 stars for value for money. My only qualm is that the small size pimple patches could stand to be at least slightly bigger. Only new closed comedones that are just forming are that small (typically). The patches cover the acne while the Kojic Acid soap applied as a serum on the acne immediately cleans up any minor redness or leftover discoloration.
