Why did you pick this product vs others?: Lightweight with more than adequate pockets Look: Solid color design in bright colors perfect for running, walking, etc. Material quality: Solid elastic waist and soft, thin fabric I love these shorts. I don't like lined running shorts and I hate, hate, hate the small pockets that many shorts come with. The phone pocket on the rear is horizontal and doesn't bother me when jogging and my iphone in there. I have the mini. Not sure if the bigger phones would be more of a hassle. YMMV. Also the front pockets are deep enough and the zipper is hidden beneath a flap if you don't like the look of pockets on running shorts. Short with a 5" inseam but not 80s short short. I wish they came in more bright colors, but I've picked an assortment - favorites are red and bright orange. I also bought the 7" which has a slightly different pocket arrangement but still lots of room and zippers, but with more muted colors. Highly recommend all their shorts! ... show more

I bought a two pack of these shorts back in February 2024. I personally found those shorts to be perfect for several reasons. I liked the fit of the shorts, the material although thin was good enough for the gym with good stretch and lastly I liked the high quality drawstring at the waist to secure the shirts for working out. Additionally I liked that the shorts had a small inside pocket that is perfect for a key fob. However this recent two pack of shorts that I bought were the same price but the quality of the drawstring in the waistband is ridiculous and nearly non functional. They went from a thick perfect branded drawstring on the waist to the most cheap flimsy drawstring they could find. This new drawstring is annoying because it's so thin that if you tie a knot to secure your shorts it's very difficult to undo the knot because it is so thin. Basically I used to love everything about these shorts originally and now that they have gotten popular they have dropped the quality and kept the same price. Drawstring sucks major in these shorts now unfortunately. For the price on sale for two they are still an okay option but now I need to replace the drawstring myself because they decided to put the cheapest one they could find from the factory. ... show more
