Parrots love mischief, and at top of their list is dumping the food and water bowls. Long story short, we've tried every locking bowl option and they haven't worked. These bowls aren't not super easy to put in at first, yet since I've done it a few times I could do it blindfolded now. The important take-away, they are not easy to dump, ... my parrots have NEVER dumped one of these bowls. The first image shows the very large water bowl with a rock in it, yep, the large water bowl gets dumped every day. The 2nd image with the macaw shows the "other" style bowl being used for water (the little numbs that you slide into place and turn the bowl), that bowl gets dumped most days. I expect you get the point. These are great bowls, just super awesome, can't be dumped! Love em!!! ... show more

Ok so they are well designed. But problem is I need more convenience. Dealing with 5 rescues... it's not easy to keep up. So far have tried them on the big crate. Not sure why the stickers had to be smack dab in side the bowl and the sticky glue stuff is hard to scrub out . Not good. Should never put stickers inside a dog bowl. The only other thing I dont undetstand is why the screws have rust on them. They were packaged well and all looked new but I guess they need oil on them while keeping them packed. So it was also a bit hard to screw them on but if the puppy is not able to knock them around then I can keep them. I just need them to work. 🙄trial ans error I suppose. But in all honesty other than the stickers n rust I think they can be handy. I'd have given a 5 star if it werent for those 2 things. If I have to work harder to deal with anything , its just annoying. And I dont mean to complain. Just bn honest. ... show more

Bought these for the new heavy duty steel cages for my dogs. They are very sturdy. My only complaint is it is a pain to and need help putting them on. Someone has to hold it from inside while others put washers on other side to tighten in place. Its easier just to put on ground for dogs to eat/drink in and out of. Otherwise you will have a very bruised thumb from taking it on and off. And I suggest putting it on the little door on the heavy duty steel cages. Another thing if attached no matter how tight you tighten it they still manage to tip the bowl. So thats an issue maker needs to fix. I have 1 dog that loves to throw her bowl so I tighten her food bowl to door and left water bowl on flooring. She always tips the food bowl I'm constantly fixing it and trying to tighten it more so she can't. But its as tight as its gonna get ... show more

It's hard to get the label off the bottom of the bowl. Had to use Goof Off and let it sit for quite a while. Why don't they just use one dollop of hot glue? If you screw it on tightly and just above a rail, it really stays put. If the bowl has water in it, you can't remove it from the clip without spilling it because the clip-in is very tight. ... show more

I got these for my dog to put them in his kennel they look good but I have a German Shepherd and he like to pull the bowls out of the hanger I think they should make them where they have something up front like a bar or something so the dogs Can't pull them out like my does other than that they work great ... show more

Got this to give our dog water when we had to be away for more than a few hours during the day. That happens about once a week, but we put it in and left it there. Works great. It's very sturdy, and so far it's holding up well. We've had it about three months.

I added this bowl to my puppies crate. I got two sizes. I'm using the small one for now. My puppy is only 9 wks old so she doesn't eat much now...but being a Rottie..that will change soon and I will add the larger one. The bowl is well made and is very sturdy. I bought one of these two years ago for a rabbit cage, and utilized it for his daily fresh vegetables. The bowl still looks great and cleans up really easily. This particular bowl was bought for my dog's kennel. She is an 80lb. Laborador, and it fits about 2 cups of food (MAX). It works, but it is absolutely busting full at this amount - if you need to feed more at once I would size up.
