Not a uniform size as one end is narrower than the other. However, it fits in the carrier and provides decent padding beneath my cat’s blanket. Also encourages her to get in the carrier even when I don’t put her in there. Reduces the whole fear and fight when it comes to be placed in it. I’d recommend it. ... show more

    • Perfect Fit, But Doesn't Stay Put

Bought for our MidWest 24" travel carrier since floor is plastic & towels or blankets tend to bunch up and don't really work for our Miniature Poodle. Took a chance on this bed since is from same company & it fits inside the bottom of the carrier like a glove. Is very well made & I like the fact it can be thrown in the washer for cleaning, when needed. Only (minor) issue is that the bottom of the bed is smooth fabric which is slippery & does not provide any friction with bottom of the carrier...as you might expect, the dog ends up 'surfing' inside the carrier at the slightest movement & the bed usually winds up on top of the poor little guy. Simple solution was to insert a thin crate pad (with a rubber/ non-slip) bottom between the carrier floor & pet bed - problem solved & now everyone is happy! ... show more

I'm using one in a crate that my cat sleeps in and one on a pillow that provides just enough firmness with the slightly firm bottom in front of a favorite window. All my cats love these (I have more cats than I care to admit), and they kind of fight over them. The rim around it makes it just cuddly enough for my cats in our almost sub-tropical climate. If I had any complaints, it would be that you can't really shake off any debris between washings because it sticks to it a bit like microfiber; you just have to pick it off. These were well worth the price I paid and I'll be buying more. ... show more

    • GREAT BEDS ... and a tip!

Well a note for Cat owners: Cats have a bad reaction to anything with plastics in them & this is not 100% fleece or cotton (which would be better)! My secret for these great beds. I slip a 100% cotton pillow case over each larger bed and buy the crib cotton pillow cases for the little travel cage bed. Now, it’s SO EASY to wash and change their beds & I only have to wash the actual bed 3 times a year (if I want to). Consider making your own cotton slip covers for your beds & then you solve the problem of cat acne and dogs with sore noses and mouths. It’s the build up of petroleum products (my Vet says). Reducing ANY percentage of plastics in it is SO important. My cats are all better since I cover where they sleep with cotton. Next, my cats love these beds. They can stretch out and rest their chins. It keeps them warm but not too hot. It allows them to see. These are their favorite beds for home or travel. Thanks for a great product! ... show more
