Very easy to use. Add dishes, drop in detergent, close the door, and start. Done. Takes about 2 hours for the whole cycle to complete. Works very well. This got things clean that my old washer had left behind. Used the same detergent, and got much better results. Runs very quietly, as well. I can barely hear it in the living room, and if the TV is on I can't hear it running at all. Filling the tank is easy, and once filled it runs the whole cycle. It does need a place to drain, but that's easy as it comes with a long hose specifically for that. I picked this one for the features and the good reviews, and was not disappointed. It works well for what we needed it (sterilizing baby items). But it doesn't dry that well (we still have to take the stuff out to get it to dry) and it only has a tank for the water, doesn't have the option to hook it up to the faucet.

I unboxed it very carefully. Noticed that a few accessories were cracked and some missing. Opened the instruction manual,it had clearly been water damaged. It thought,this is tacky and unprofessional to send out. Followed the directions step by step. It never worked. It just kept flooding my kitchen counters and floor. Trouble shotted the error step by step, same result. I contacted Midea customer service and they ghosted me. Amazon blamed Midea. I will never trust these companies again. ... show more

Pros: does it exactly what it advertised and maybe cleans better than larger units Cons: takes a lot of water to fill up and takes up a lot of course space Overall: I live on my own and can't live in an apartment without a dishwasher and this was the perfect compromise. It gets my dishes very clean and is the perfect size for the amount of dirty dishes I create. It's not hooked to a water source so you should expect to fill it up(usually takes 4-5 pitchers) and it's a dishwasher that's on your countertop so if you don't have a lot of counter space you might want to rethink this. This is the one you want! It washes dishes but the inside is set up to help you wash dishes over time. The holes where water jets out are a little bigger than my last (competitor) unit which means less clogging. According to the instructions you can detach the water jet turnstyle to clean though Ive never had to. The top rack is MADE for silverware so there is a place for knives, a place where forks won't fall through, etc. Very nice. The top turnstyle is pretty small giving you maximum headroom for taller dishes. Should you desire, the bottom rack tines can either stand up or lay down. On regular mode the door pops open half an inch to help with drying. Over all a rich look on the unit outside. Next generation would like a bigger water pourhole and a cap that screws on. But by far this is the best small dishwasher! I'd give it 6 stars really for the inside design. ... show more
