Description

Enable network game transferNetwork transfer lets one Xbox console copy games and apps from another console, so long as they’re on the same home network. Copying this way can be faster than downloading another copy of the same game or app. If you have a metered internet connection, this can also save you money.Any Xbox One (original Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X) can be either the source or the destination console. On the Xbox you want to copy from, go to Settings > Network > Network transfer and check the box to allow network transfer. This makes that Xbox visible to other consoles on the same network.Once you’ve allowed transferring from the “host” Xbox, turn on the console onto which you’ll be copying games and apps, and go to the same settings page. Your host Xbox should be listed.Select the Xbox you want to copy from, choose the items to copy, then select Copy selected.

  • It works
I use a gaming laptop and sometimes I like to use a controller with it. This works great with my laptop and it hooks up fast to my Xbox controller. Once connected the first time I just have to turn on my controller for it to work

  • Works good
Works good, just sync an Xbox one controller to the PC like you would to the actual Xbox.

  • Low latency controller adapter, but may have problems with drivers
When it works it works well, and not having to have a controller connected to my PC with a cable is very convenient, especially when on the couch across the room. I have run into problems with the driver, which can be annoying to deal with as it prevents your controller from being recognized and able to connect. I originally had it at 3 stars because of how frequently I would have problems with it, but after many windows updates, it seems to finally be truly reliable. ... show more

  • Works as intended, solved previous issues
Previously with straight USB plug in and other general bluetooth adapters, I'd have strange issues like the controller rebooting itself, losing connection, etc. This solved all my problems, simple plug and play. Worth the purchase!

  • I would not recommend buying this piece of junk
For those of you who cannot use it, read this: http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/490123938430246727/ I was finally able to use it after making some adjustments. But still, I would not recommend buying this piece of junk. I pre-ordered this one originally from Microsoft Store back on Oct 17, 2015, they shipped it on the 20th, and I received it on the 22nd. When I received it, I wasn't able to use it. I talked with their customer service, and it turns out their technical supports were just useless. I talked with three different customer service people on Microsoft Store, and none of them was able to help. The first person waster me about half an hour, and she was like "You need to talk to a technical support, and I cannot transfer you to a guy like that, you need to go to this page and re-launch another conversation". After talking with the second person for over an hour, the guy told me that it was because my Xbox application on my laptop was not up to date, and he shot me a website, and asked me to follow the guidelines on it. Basically the web said the newest version should be 8.8.xxx, but the funny thing was that my version was 9.9.xxx, I asked him what to do given that my version is 9.9.XXX, but the web says the newest one is 8.8.XXX. And the guy was still like: just follow the page, update your operating system. As it turned out, it still didn't work. I was kinda pissed after spending this much time and the tech guy still being totally helpless, and I asked "I want to talk to your supervisor or another representative, you are not solving my issue". The guy refused my request, saying that "I cannot transfer you to my supervisor or another representative, even if I do, they will tell you the same thing". Then I shut the window and opened another one. I gave the third person my reference number, and he was like he needed to check the previous conversation. After about 5 minutes' waiting, the third person came back, and the first question he asked was "Is this for a xbox one adapter for windows 10?". I said "Yes". Then he was like "Let me check the support guide, just a moment". After another 5 minutes' of waiting, the guy came back, and he was like "I don't see we are selling this product, did you get it from a third party seller?". I was totally furious, and I said "This is bulls*** I bought this stuff from your website, order number is xxxxxxx. I am claiming a refund now, I've been dealing with your customer support for the past 2 hours, and you tech supports are useless!". "I completely understand your situation, however for a refund, you need to contact our billing department." the tech guy answered. The second day I took my adapter to a local Microsoft Store in Dallas, TX. Guess what they said when they saw my adapter "Where did you get this?", I showed them my receipt, and they were like:"OMG, they released this back on the 20th?!". When the guy at the store plugged it in his laptop, there's no reaction on his laptop either, and he was like "I'm so sorry, but it probably is just a hardware issue, you should refund this. I mean the product is so new that we don't have a technical guideline for this.". But since I did request a refund the night before on Microsoft's website, I wasn't able to return the product at the store. I ended up sent it back to Microsoft via UPS. Apart from Microsoft's Horrible customer service, I'd say this product is not that good either. First, it does not guarantee to work on your laptop even if you are running a windows 10, you need to fix it by yourself. Second, obviously Microsoft's technical support is totally useless, so you are on your own. Third, the adapter itself feels cheap, and it's relatively large in size that it may block other USB slots. Fourth, your controller will lose the buzz function if you connect it wireless through this adapter. Last but not least, whenever you are done gaming, there are only two ways to shut down your controller, you either wait 15 minutes or you take the batteries out. You cannot simply push the xbox button on controller and stop it. Overall, I'd say this wireless adapter is no better than the one for the 360, Given that the adapter for 360 is only around $10, this one should be no more than $5. ... show more
