I got this for the Wii as it was not showing a picture on the screen with out old tv adapter. We got this one to hopefully remedy that issue. This one didn't show anything on the screen but our old one had colors but nothing else. I can't say for sure if this items works or not. It might be my wii as my older adapter didn't work either. Great item for connecting your wii using the moder HDMI cables over the default component cables.

Works better than component cables, the audio is more clear as well. Once and a awhile when turning on your system the image will be scrambled, simply unplug the attachment and plug it back in or restart the system. Both solutions have worked for me in the past.

Don't listen to any of the negative comments this thing works perfectly! It doesn't make your video 4K but it is a major improvement from what it was displaying. If you don't like your picture being square going to your TV settings and change the aspect ratio. Makes all of the edges smoother less blur
