I got this for the Wii as it was not showing a picture on the screen with out old tv adapter. We got this one to hopefully remedy that issue. This one didn't show anything on the screen but our old one had colors but nothing else. I can't say for sure if this items works or not. It might be my wii as my older adapter didn't work either. If you have a Wii unit and you haven’t used it in years and all of a sudden you get the idea that you want to plug it in and use it. You’re gonna need this cable and once you use it it goes right online and you’ll enjoy it.

Tried many other units. This one works. Fills the screen no problem. I understand it’s a Wii. Not going to have crystal clear HD 1080p I didnt expect that. Looks dam good to me for a Wii on a tcl 4k 55 inch tv. But I’ll be dam it works just fine.

    • Don't bother, there's a better way.
Useless. Don't bother with this thing. The Wii doesn't even recognize it as an HD cable and won't let you select 480p. It auto switches to 480i, so you end up with a terrible picture quality on your screen. Instead order a YPbPr to HDMI Converter, and use your original HD Wii cable. It's a separate device that your Wii YPbPr cable plugs into and has an HDMI output to the TV. Only con is it uses more cables, as it also plugs into an outlet, but the picture quality you get out of it is worth it. ... show more
