This is the next best thing to an up-scaler. I have tried two other brands and this one comes in lead for me. Clear crisp picture for what it is, and I don't notice any delay. Very good adapter for the Wii. Outputs 480p, so there is no upscaling to 1080p. Not a bad thing, but the age of the console is very noticeable when playing on a 4k tv. Overall, it's a good product that allows me to play older titles on newer displays!

This is the one you want. All the other wii2hdmi type solutions I’ve tried are actual garbage in comparison. This one outputs 480p correctly in widescreen and standard. It doesn’t even require an external power source. Works with both Wii and WiiU(idk why you wouldn’t just use the built in but it works lol). ... show more

This adapter is so easy and allows hdmi performance so I can keep playing on newer tvs with ease. Picture and sound are great, ant the overall quality is exactly what I wanted. Would strongly recommend to people who still love their wii.
