I was nervous at first since I've never ordered a device like this from amazon especially a refurbished one. I saw the price for this16gb RAM and 256gb storage versus the one straight from Microsoft and had to get this one. It's great. There were some problems though that the seller already knew and let me know before receiving the device such as incompatibility issues with the software. The surface pro x is an arm64 device which can run apps if they are made for ARM processors (like the SQ1) or if they are 32 bit since the pro x can do 32bit emulation on windows 10. Windows 11 changed it completely, you can now run 64 bit apps, frankly which are widely available versus 32 bit apps meaning even more work. Some apps still do not work but those are far and few between when compared to windows 10. Aside from software, hardware is excellent. I'd definitely recommend purchasing one since it can be updated to windows 11. ... show more

It took me almost 2 years to find the right Surface pro X, after reading bad review after bad review on here by people being disappointed with their products after they got em, I was terrified to go ahead and purchase one of these, and I finally did and let me tell u, I got literally a BRAND NEW COPUTER, not a single scratch, everything perfectly packed, and like I said brand new, it came in a generic box as all renewed products do but, all accessories and computer body are new, perfect, the computer works beautifully, I am EXTREMELY happy with this product from Comp Depot! if u are looking for a great Surface pro X, this is the ONE! ... show more

I have always loved owning a Surface Tablet, I had one stolen out of my vehicle and later went and bought another one, I sold this second one and now I own this one. This model of the Surfaces is LTE enabled which is honestly one of the best decisions I have made as a commuter college student who likes to spend time outdoors. With the right kind of defender case I can take this device anywhere. There are a lot of reviews about this not being a laptop honestly I was not looking for a laptop I was looking for something in between. The tablet is in very good physical condition, however it is plagued by concerning bugs including virus and threat protection stuck in "off" even after extensive troubleshooting, factory restored and reinstalling windows. Some media refuses to play. Antivirus software won't install. At best defective, at worst contains deep malware. Subtle enough to pass refurbishing QA I suppose. Browses the Internet and plays YouTube pretty well. Seems to struggle with much else. EDIT: Gave some stars back thanks to smooth return process, and some complaints were likely due to the ARM CPU ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The tablet is supposed to work with any carrier. I bought it for work outside the home and to do estimates. I use criket and it only worked for a couple of months. The cellular network stopped working before the year. I have received replacements from Microsoft and it still doesn't work. The chip has been changed a couple of times until new, the chip works in other devices but it doesn't read on the tablet. Microsoft accepted the factory defect but tells me to change the company as a solution, they don't want to return the money. Other cell phone companies comment that the problem will continue with each update that the tablet has. Esim options are only available on weird companies. Not available on at&t, criket ,t mobile etc. Not worth it! don't waste your money. ... show more

I have been waiting to review this little gem in case something happens in the first month. So far so good. I got the Pro X for the SIM option to be connected from anywhere. I need constant connection working in construction, from job site to job site. The ARM chip sure make startup and shutdown fast. The sleep on this device actually works, don't have to wait long for it to jump back to life. With cloud connected apps, I don't need a lot of storage and the keyboard (bought separately) works better than any crappy iPad accessory. Having the full power of Windows 11 (I upgraded) give me way more functionality that any iPad could for construction field work.
