After my daughter graduated high school and no longer had her school-issued Chromebook, this laptop was the perfect replacement! With the sale price offered, I was skeptical. I was wrong. It is so light and compact. It travels well, yet is durable. The violet color is really nice too. We have had it for a little over 4 months. My daughter has been using it at college to work on assignments, log into her college apps & websites and stream tv apps without any issues. The screen is bright and clear, the battery lasts for her and there have been no hiccups with the memory capacity while she uses many different functions. bought the Microsoft Surface Laptop from Amazon, and the whole experience was excellent. Packaging was secure, shipping was fast, and the laptop arrived in perfect condition. So far, I’ve been using it for regular daily tasks like web browsing and productivity, and it performs flawlessly. I haven’t tested it with gaming or heavy workloads yet, but for everyday use it’s been reliable, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. I love the design on the computer it’s light weight and even though the measurement seems small the screen is the entire length of the top of the laptop so it is larger than you think ! The keys are so smooth and I have had zero problems when it comes to writing my papers for school ! Now I gave it a four because even though it is beautiful I have had one issue.It does not work with a tool my school uses which is called Kaltura so if you need this for school this computer is not compatible with this app. ... show more

I do not recommend for two reasons. 1) No where is it written that they will charge $120 to return the product!I I assumed this purchase had standard Amazon return policy. It does not. 2) This is a smaller model than the 13.8" and it feels significantly smaller to use, and feels a bit slow to me compared to comparable alternatives. Given the horrendous return fees, make sure you want this smaller, seemingly slower model, before you try it thru this vendor. ... show more

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 13 is perfect for what my uses are. Design and build quality is fantastic, it’s snappy and responsive. Keyboard is very comfortable. Screen provides good color and contrast but could use a bump in resolution and refresh rate.
