Have been a Mac user for at least a decade or more, so when I switched jobs to a company that requires a Windows device, I was frustrated with many of the low-quality keyboard options out there. That's why I was very excited to have found this one! It has a nice weight to it and feels very durable. I love how thin the keyboard is and the large flat keys feel extremely natural to me. I actually think I slightly prefer the way these keys feel compared to Apple's Magic Keyboard - though they are extremely similar. I initially bought only one for my desk at home and then ended up buying a second for my desk in the office because I liked it so much. I love that they very seamlessly sync with my device when it is nearby! I've never once had to mess around with the Bluetooth settings. The glacier color looks really nice and pairs perfectly with the Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse in the same color. ... show more

Ergonomics 4 stars - it's the same as Microsoft surface keyboard,but instead of alcantara cover it is wrapped into a compact design. It has short travel keys and sits almost flush to your desk which is not that convenient, overall good looking & tactile pleasant finishing. Sleep Mode 3 Star - Here comes the problem, Microsoft, as always, favored design to redundancy & longevity, meaning that as it it is designed to be thin, it only takes 4 button batteries & sleep mode on this keyboard is as follows: It goes to sleep after about 3 minutes and there is no way to disable it or adjust & every time you're back to type in something your first two words are not typed as it was trying to reconnect at the first keystroke, I battled with it for a while,but give up and returned it. Value for money 2 Stars - I've got another keyboard with near identical built quality for half what this keyboard costs & new one takes two AAA batteries. I will see how this one performs with it's Bluetooth connectivity. It's a pity, as I've chosen this Microsoft keyboard, because it is exactly what I wanted, it's compact, good looking and sleek, though behaves not in the favour of its look. ... show more

I bought this for my laptop. I had Logitech mouse before but it uses USB dongle which takes up my valuable USB port space. This bluetooth keyboard requires no dongle and only bluetooth so it's great for those who need to free up USB ports. This keyboard is the same size as and feel like Apple Magic Keyboard except it uses 4 x CR2032 cell batteries instead of rechargeable. I have both Windows laptop and Mac. This keyboard will make me end up spending more money on the batteries. I prefer rechargeable so I don't have to spend any more money. I don't know what Microsoft was thinking. It's quiet, very compact. Haven't tested out the battery life but I expect it to last a long time. 4 CR button cell batteries. The keyboard sleeps after some time to save battery but reconnects very quick, usually in 1-2 seconds and inputs what you typed before it reconnected, so I don't really see any issues with that as some reviews had stated. Finally, my search is over. I'm a long-standing mac guy, so it's killing me to switch to a company that issued me a Win laptop. One of the big adjustments has been the noisy, crappy, windows keyboards, and I've tried a few. Finally this one is closest to the crisp, quiet precision of mac keyboards. I highly recommend. One note, the keyboard, I guess due to it's streamline form factor, uses four 2032 coin batteries. Just a warning. I'm sure they last a while, but good to get backups ready for when they go, because there is no usb cable backup option. ... show more
