Weak lighting and dirty lenses. Cheap product for what I paid. I had a less expensive microscope and wanted to upgrade a little. Well this microscope might magnify a little more than my older one but you can’t tell because of the poor lighting and filthy lenses. Regret my purchase greatly

    • Absolute letdown
I was working on a lab for school and I noticed that the fine focus knob was missing. I thought nothing of it, and I had no problems with my first slide. My second slide was very hard to see on the microscope, even after adjusting the "adjustment" knob that literally only moves the stage up and down. If only this product had a fine adjustment knob so I can actually examine the specimen that I am studying. It is especially frustrating that when the specimen is absolutely tiny and you cannot even see it on the so-called "1000x magnification". Just buy a better microscope guys. ... show more
