I have only had this product for a couple of days, and I am absolutely over the moon about it. It was very easy to set up, and the picture quality is great for the price! I was actually very pleasantly surprised with the camera quality. I had trouble setting the program up at first, as I kept downloading the wrong software (Oops, my computer is windows, not linux). I also had an issue where the camera preview was just black, despite the software recognizing the camera. I took it out, waved it around, and it came to life, so it very well might have been the angle I had it placed at. These were silly mistakes I made, so I thought I'd share here incase someone else made the same silly mistakes. It was definitely worth the purchase, and I encourage any beginner, college student, or even post-college student to get it! ... show more

    • NOT compatible with Chromebooks

This seemed like a great idea to get for my HS biology classes. However, and very sadly, the camera software is NOT compatible with Chromebooks--you know, THE type of laptop that students have nowadays. Hopefully the company will make compatible software ASAP.
