Yes I gave 5 stars cause I received what I ordered and supposed to be, obviously there are way better mic stands....At first I was like...; Why is it so short and wouldn't extend up, just was the locking swivel was really tight on mine when got it, which is actually a good thing it has strong extension lock. Few minor hard twists, slid right up as supposed to. Can adjust to fit any size you want and will lock in place pretty well. Mic holder is a simple clamp, but holds my Shure Mic in place. Base is heavy enough to stay in place, but can lean it any way if you wanna scream and belt out vocals or frustration.. ... show more

This microphone stand was easy to assemble, has a sturdy post and appropriately heavy base with substantial rubber feet, and was very to adjust. I'm happy, and my kid is happy! It came in a recommended bundle with a Shure PGA48 microphone through Amazon. The microphone fits the included clip well.

I bought this because I wanted something with a heavy base (to prevent tipping over). I was very pleased with this product as the base is heavy without being too big. It comes in nice compact packaging. However, the mic clip it comes with is not the best quality, so I'd recommend buying a heavy duty mic clip separately. Great stand! But the clip is almost useless. Broke the first night, but I have several so it wasn’t a big deal to screw the cheap clip off and put on a shure clip or something similar. Other than that, it’s SOLID!!

The base is heavy duty metal, the stand height is adjustable, and the clip fits around my Rockville mics that were too wide for the previous stand that I bought. I'll probably buy a second one now
