  • Top part not sturdy
It's a relatively compact stand, unfortunately it's not road ready, the top part is pretty shaky and my guess is it will break if you move it around a lot. If you use it without the arm as a straight mic stand it's pretty good.

  • Does NOT support the weight of a Blue Yeti
Maybe mine was defective, however the stand would not support the weight of the Blue Yeti like it is claimed. The stand sags all the way down on first try and not only that the metal supporting the microphone itself started warping after half a day of attempting to use it. Lastly, there are NO instructions provided. The only reason im not giving it a straight 1 star is because if works just fine with a normal microphone, but do not buy if you are buying a thicker microphone. ... show more

  • Superb quality
I only need the mic stand with extended arm but this whole package comes with extras - it's not bad but I just won't use these. I have a mic holder from Shure mic purchase and it fits the mic better than the one provided with the mic stand package. Quality of this mic stand is superb, for sure more than enough stability to hold my precious Shure mic. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Good Mic Stand but boom doesn't hold tight and self-lowers.
Weight is good, construction is good, mic clamps covers most mics, but boom is difficult to lock down while holding my Sure Beta 58.

  • Very sturdy, but super poor quality/packaging
Ordered this stand just because I needed something quick and easy to act as a boom for my yeti. Was not expecting much. The metal material is solid and sturdy, but some pieces came rusted and one of the plastic components was just straight up snapped in half. Also no instructions came in the box, although it’s not that hard to figure out. ... show more

  • Flimsy / Poor Quality
First off: had a devil of a time connecting the rods. They were not machined properly and it was difficult getting them to screw into one another without cross-threading. I ended up coating the joints with Dawn and slowly twisting them into place. They still didn't seat all the way, so the main stand wobbles a bit, as a result. The boom arm is the shortest I've ever seen, requiring a full extension...then the problem is getting the boom adjustment tight enough to keep the mic in place without it continuing to sink. For the amount of money, this is as close to junk as you will want to venture. Find a more reputable manufacturer and save yourself the trouble. ... show more

  • Didn’t fit my needs…
Boom not long enough…

  • Not intended for live stage or studio use.
It is too lightweight. The knobs won't lock down a position if using an actual mic. You have to be a strong man to tighten it down enough to keep it from 'wilting'. Studio and stage mics are often heavier than a simple cheap Karaoke mic. Too low quality for the price. NOT FOR A PRO MUSICIAN.
