it gets the job done, range of motion is entirely dependent on where you mount it, if you screw the mic directly into the post, you aren't going to have any range of movement or tilt with it, so invest in a shock mount type thing for your specific microphone if you want to actually be able to get it in a good position it's cheap, it's not one of those ugly crane arms you see everywhere on here. I got the RGB one which is entirely pointless since it only glows at the base, and it's very weak to the point where you probably won't see it unless you specifically look for it in a very dark room, but it gets the job done i suppose.

Basic, simple, not bendy and springy like the common dissapointment available. I alreqdy had 2 - 3in extensions i added to the end. Because of the duocast size and added legnth i had to slighty tighten main pivot with included allen. Easy! Clean.. i paid the extra dollar for the slight rgb glow at the base only. So thats you personal thrifty choice. Enjoy!
