The card is amazing. However the wifi is a realtek 7927 chipset with ZERO Linux support. Realtek has not put our a driver to support LINUX Maybe AMD can put a little pressure on realtek to support Linux. Everything else on this card is amazing. Hey AMD I run AMD not INTEL so keep my support and lets get the wifi working with Linux Thanks.

I've always built using Intel, and a lot of other IT buddies recommended it so I figured I'd try for my next build and I honestly love AMD. For starters, the processor itself is LIGHTNING fast, and I actually stupidly streamed once not even aware I didn't even have my cable unplugged and was only on Wifi and my stream didn't even have a single issue for my viewers. It starts every single time quick, and the little ASUS Rog flair it has is honestly a visual feature that is a beautiful little extra for me. I can now change my CPU to upgrade in the future without having to rebuild my whole PC in the future, having lightning fast wifi connectivity and speeds is beautiful, and it's just stable as every ASUS product I've ever bought has been. I've beyond happy with this new build ASUS and AMD so thank you both for a great product even months later now! Wanted to wait and see how it held up and it's a beast!

With one exception, the board is up to Asus' quality board. It is a fairly high-end gaming motherboard. Windows is well-supported, but there are some challenges if your board uses the MediaTek MT7927 Wi-Fi and you plan to use Linux. You should plan on upgrading the BIOS and firmware. These versions change fairly often, so you should pass the BIOS version you plan to use through AI and look for other user's experience. In my case, I needed to upgrade the Linux firmware. Since Wi-Fi is may not be working at install time, you may need to use a wired connection. A real wired-connection or a tethered USB connection to you phone are two options. Generally, be ready to deal with installation issues. Once you get past that, it's a great MB with lots of features.
