  • Initial Impression
I have had these tires on for 3 days and I am impressed, so far. Very little highway hum, but this is very dependent on the condition of the road surface. I will add that if you are concerned about that with this type of ture, maybe one should be looking at an all season type of tire and not an all terrain with a "more aggressive " tread pattern. First long trip after having them mounted, I saw rain, sleet, and snow. Rare morning for April, but still experienced all. Without a doubt, these tires had a nice grip and felt very sure footed. No slipping and that "wavy" feeling. Given, since the tires were still basically brand new, I kept my driving more on the cautious side since any new tire can have minor slippage until the sheen wears of the tread. I do like how they look, but they do not make my truck (2014 F150 FX4) look any different. They are pricey, but they are Mickey Thompson (for crying out loud) and I expect to pay a bit more for a premium quality brand. Delivery came early so that is a plus also. Update after almost two months. I love these tires. Great wet traction and still very little road noise. I am upgrading to five stars. ... show more

  • One of the best set of tires I have ever used
My set of MT Baja legends has been one of the best sets of tires that I have ever owned. I have only owned around 20 4x4 trucks and SUV’s in my lifetime and use them off road 4/7 days a a week average. So I have a good deal of experience with tires and off road use. This is the first set of MT tires I have ever tried and I am impressed. I will definitely purchase another set of them, when these get worn out( 38k) on them and still in good condition. They are starting to make a bit of noticeable noise out on the pavement, but not anything annoying. Great value at a reasonable price. ... show more
