    • You Won't Get Wave 1 of This Series
I ordered 3 of them, and I got the barrel cactus, pink betta, and hen and chicks. As far as I can tell, they only send out wave 2 of this series (the ones with the fish on them, not the ones with the cactus). Unfortunately, if you are looking for specific ones- succulent pair #1, hanging terrariums, yellow-bellied slider, goldfish, purple betta, or birthday cake candles, those ONLY come in the balls with the cactus on them. The yellow-bellied slider, goldfish and purple betta are very hard to find nowadays, and they are very pricey with resellers. As far as these kits go, I have done a lot of them and I really love them. They are not without their issues. The candles don't give you enough resin, and they are my least favorite. I just make one full candle and use leftover resin from a different kit to make a different candle. Some of them are easy to do (the plants don't come with resin; they come with kinetic like "dirt"). Some are harder to do- if you get an animal in a tank, I would advise looking up a good way to do them- a lot of people have trouble with these. Some of them, you have to cure in stages. It's really a good idea to research them a bit before you do them. They are a bit pricey to mess them up. Also, kids will need help with these if they don't have experience with this kind of thing. And the resin is sticky and hard to get off. I've heard rubbing alcohol helps. I have done 10+ of these kits, and I love them. They are so cute, and even the ones I struggled with turned out very well. I look at reviews a lot when shopping. Hope this review helps! ... show more

I'm gonna be honest and say i'm developing a bit of an addiction to these. They are so cute and so fun for anyone who loves miniatures. Adult and child alike l o l. I will say, I do prefer the Projects that contain resin rather than the plants with the kinetic sand. They are both absolutely adorable though. Each package comes with a project and Everything needed to create them. The candles are a bit hard to work with. I highly recommend flipping over the bottle of resin before adding the nozzle to it. I nearly lost my mind trying to get all of the resin to fill the candles! They still turned out super cute though! I would do it all over again. I purchased a small resin curing light. That ran me about seven dollars and it made things better. Highly recommend though, Most fun i've had in a while. ... show more

I'm a big fan of this Miniverse series! I have collected 13 from the series so far. They are small, easy to manage, and make for cute decor. The resin can be messy, so I recommend using gloves. Also, this type of resin requires a UV lamp or light, or you can simply use direct sunlight. I wouldn't recommend this product for children until age 10, primarily due to the resin and UV light work. This could definitely be a fun activity for an adult and child to complete together. ... show more

Super fun product, you get all the items you need to make your own mini items and they are individually packaged in their own “store packaging” we got a fish tank so the fish came in a plastic bag shaped package, the rocks came in an aquarium rocks package, the water came in a bottle. These kits are cute, adorable and fun to make - when there's enough resin to actually make them! Because they are gatchas - mystery purchases, you are essentially gambling and hoping you get a good one that you will enjoy getting. I've gotten three of one of the plant types and two of one of the candles. The potting soil and rocks from the plant are at least somewhat easy to use. The candle, however.... My rose candle had resin that did not want to budge in the tiny bottle. It's as if they only give enough resin for the one project and only if you can get it all out of the bottle. I gave up and used strawberry frosting from one of the food Make it Minis in order to finish that one. The two pumpkin scented candles I got I will never be able to finish with the resin that came with the kits. One of the candles filled up halfway and no more resin wants to come out. The second pumpkin candle kit I got, the same thing happened, except absolutely no resin came out. What a waste. I am hoping to get a fishbowl. Hoping, but not hoping too hard. ... show more

These kits are great for kids over 10! 👏 Keeps my kiddos motivated for a reward and busy off screens for hours. The fish and cactus packs are so fun. Please be very careful with curing resin as it gets hot so make sure your little one wears gloves that fit and then remove the gloves after carefully replacing lid on resin BEFORE curing (if they have it on their finger and it cures it will burn) or that you do that step for them or at least carefully supervise. My 12 year old was able to do it fully independently and did awesome and loves to add another decorative piece she made to her shelf. Highly recommend!!! ... show more

Pro: works fine motor skills of a 8 y.o, packaging is eye catching, creates neat miniature sized objects that are neat for small dolls are characters, it time consuming but require patience to cure, and a good incentive. Cons: the resin comes in miniature packaging which means an adult hand or pliers to remove contents can be required. Ensure a room temperature above 60 for easy resin removal, if the temperature outside is cooler or if the ball is stored at a temperature far too cool the resin cannot be removed. If exposed to exceedingly cool temperatures it will harden far to fast for tiny hand movement. Overall: Tiny human vote: 5-stars Adult human vote: 5-stars for 8 y.o. Girl who enjoys crafting big things small. Great incentive for getting good grades, 30 minute project, with a moderate resin stink. ... show more
