UPDATE: seller offered to replace the shelter. Excellent customer service! Was impressed buy the build quality at first but instructions were not shipped with the product. A quick query to the supplier quickly resulted in emailed assembly instructions. Unfortunately maybe not suitable for winter weather. This was my result after 1.5 months in operation. My suspicion is that wind caused snow to collect more on one side then the other and that the supplied cables were too thin and snapped. After that the remaining cables also snapped. This was after a snow fall of approx 6”. It was leveled and all cables were placed.

This took me a couple of weekends and a scissor lift rental to complete. One to two people can start the project but getting the roof up took a lot of effort. My three sons and I (plus my wife and daughter in law) couldn’t finish it. Hence the scissor lift. Save yourself time and aggravation by getting a tube of white lithium grease and lube up the leg joints a lot. I had a few that wouldn’t slide together very easily. The grease made a big difference. I’m glad I have it, I just wish I would have had cooler weather while putting it together I probably lost 4-5 pound of water weight each weekend from sweating so much. (My bad for buying it in August) The spot I park my travel trailer is on the south side of my house. Super hot (95°+) all summer long and some of fall. That said, my travel trailer is now 15-20° cooler inside when parked under this RVport and the roof isn’t baking in full sun day after day. Thanks MGStudio.

A 1 man job until time to put it on the bottom legs. Then it was 6 men and 2 women and a little bit of a struggle. I'm 65 and spent 2 days assembling the cover. Then called for help. I like the cover so much I ordered another although some what smaller and with sides.

Beautiful carport. Very big and tall. I've never seen such a tall car port. You could park an suv, an rv, or a boat, and yet it's not obvious. Mine hides beautifully under my trees. Very good quality and excellent price. We're very happy with it.

I purchased this 12x20ft heavy-duty canopy a few weeks ago, and it’s already proven to be one of the best outdoor investments I’ve made. The structure is incredibly solid, with a heavy-gauge steel frame that feels stable even in windy conditions. The canopy material is thick, waterproof, and offers excellent UV protection – perfect for year-round use. Assembly was pretty straightforward. It took two of us about an hour and a half to set it up, and everything fit together snugly. The instructions were clear, and all the hardware was included. Once it’s up, it’s rock steady – no wobble, no sagging. We’re using it to shelter our two vehicles, and it has plenty of room to spare. I could easily see this being used for outdoor events, storage, or even as a temporary workshop space.
