You must return it in a box, there is no way I could get that fluffy bed back in a box so I had to buy one ($14.00) at UPS Store. Wanted to leave this information for potential buyers.

My dog is 17years old. His old bed was looking dingy/wore out and he recently stopped being able to jump on furniture(he used to sleep on couch) I wanted a bed for him with more cushion and support but also has a border because he likes to lean on it(his old bed had border) so when I found this I was super excited.( you would think the process of finding a dog bed would be easy but it was not lol he’s picky and old) He loves this bed! I attached a photo of him. I put a dog heating pad on it to help ease his joint pain. I got the bed with the memory foam that goes in the bottom. I can tell this had made a big difference for him! He took to the bed right away.( I bought another one before this and returned it because he didn’t like it) I love that the bed is soft, calming, and warm for him. The bottom of the bed is a wipeable Material which is super nice. Also love that the middle of the dog bed is not detachable or anything. He loves the circle border around the bed so he can lean on it. The only thing I wish was different is that the middle was a little bit deeper. (Sometimes he gets clumsy and falls over the sides lol) I think it would be deeper if I didn’t get the memory foam bottom. It’s not a big deal, he loves it. Bottom line, great purchase, great for senior dogs, soft, comfortable, and easy to clean.

I ordered two of these to use as a place marker for my dogs at my wedding. One of the beds seems to be of really good quality at time of unpacking. It is just like the photos. The other bed is not the same color, has more filling in the center than the bolster sides, the bolster sides are smaller, and is of a significantly different color. One of the beds seems to be worth the money. The other left me disappointed. We have acquired a third spoiled brat, I mean dog, since I ordered these. I have ordered one for him too. I’m hoping that I get one of equal quality as the better of the two I received today. I am giving four stars as an average. One bed rates 5 stars at unpacking. The other rates maybe a 2 at best.

Our 5 month old pup has used this dog bed in her crate since we got her at 8 weeks, she is now 6 mos. We have washed it several times in old school washing machine and also have dried it in old school dryer. I will say that the lovely "fluffiness" mats down right away...but I use a stiff cleaning brush to "fluff it back up". Our girl loves it so much, I just cannot complain! She curls right up in it and looks so cozy and safe.

My Trixie is a petite boxer weighing in at about 65 pounds. I ordered the XXL. She fits fine. This bed is not very thick, even after letting it puff back up after unboxing. It's her office bed, so it's fine and she seems pretty happy, don't let the mean mug get to you. That said, she would not be happy to sleep on this all night. She has a similar bed I got at one of the big box stores locally that is super thick and she sleeps in that one. For the big price difference though, this was a good deal made better by a lightning deal and a coupon. I'll update of washing goes awry.
