China has always had an issue with measurements to the standards of the U.S.! So, I ordered this adapter kit for a double din 7 in a half inch screen for my 2007 GTI. It came with 2 side brackets, A front plate, and an inner plate. So I started the project of taking out the old stock radio and putting together the new. Once the wiring kit was installed, I started with this kit, I noticed that the outer plate fit, bit the inner plate that actually snugs and fills the gaps (to give it a clean look was WAY to small! Also the side brackets didn't line up with the holes of the unit itself. I ended up engineering my own method to making this upgrade work. My advice to the manufacturer is, LEARN HOW TO MESSURE before you start selling your products! ... show more

Fits perfectly, super easy install. Only thing is the little piece that’s supposed to snap in around the outside of the radio didn’t fit around my radio so there’s a small gap on both sides
