I actually ordered the wrong one and decided to keep it and give it a try. First, it does what it was intended to do, display your iPhone apps on the screen. With that said, it’s not perfect. Pros: bright screen, connects to your phone fast, large screen, some functions are easy to use, and easy to install. It sticks to your dashboard once you press it on. Cons: rightness doesn’t adjust automatically, the volume of the machine is weak, doesn’t connect to the car Bluetooth (only through one of the radio channels) so, if you want to listen to radio you must have the station app and play it, so that you can also listen to the gps on your car speaker!!! The screen does reflect a lot of reflection on the screen. It will not play YouTube videos or can I get other app to appear on the screen. This is ok if you don't drive much or not sitting long time in your vehicle. I bought this for a 3 hour road trip and within the hour of using it froze and and lost connection to my phone. I had to unplug and replug to connect via Bluetooth. It sits on my dash so I thought the sunlight must be causing it to heat up. But same thing happened while driving at night. One hour in and started losing connection and had to restart it. I'm only using the navigation while driving. It's very user friendly and easy to setup. If you're planning a 30min drive it should work fine but I don't recommend using for longer trips. ... show more

Works great. Added AppleCarplay to a 2004 XJ8. The car didn't have Bluetooth so I had to use the FM modulator in the unit. Having used many of these in the past (none of which worked) I was quite stunned to discover that this actually works "very" well (sounds just like the FM radio, and almost as good as Bluetooth in my other cars or the CD in the Jag. I realized afterwards that the unit could actually support a backup camera (which again my older card didn't have). Customer support were awesome, I asked if I could purchase the cable or a camera and they sent me one FOC. Highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a low cost way to add CarPlay to their vehicle. ... show more
